  • Patent number: 11927155
Abstract: An evaporative emissions canister is provided. The evaporative emissions canister includes a body defining an internal volume therein for receiving one or more volumes of adsorbent. The canister body includes a port for receiving an accessory component. The port is in fluid communication with the internal volume. A sleeve seal is disposed in the port. A mounting bracket extends outwardly from the canister body. The canister body supports the accessory component, and the accessory component is secured to the canister body, thereby eliminating a hose and connector fittings between the canister body and the accessory component. A fuel system assembly including the evaporative emissions canister is also provided. A method of connecting an accessory component to an evaporative emissions canister is further provided.

  • Patent number: 11900736
Abstract: A mobile device for use in an electronic logging device (ELD) system may include a processor and one or more memories which store, singularly or in combination, one or more instructions, which when executed by the processor cause the mobile device to carry out one or more operations. The one or more operations may include reading a machine readable code configured to be coupled to a vehicle, connecting to an ELD dongle based, at least in part, on the machine readable code, receiving data from the ELD dongle, and generating one or more mobile device reports based, at least in part, on the received data.

  • Patent number: 10684205
Abstract: A method and an apparatus to improve the precision and reproducibility of particle size analysis by laser diffraction is presented. Powder particles are typically prepared for laser diffraction testing using an ultra-sound bath which will disperse particle agglomerates and allow a precise measurement. However, the precision and reproducibility of agglomerate dispersion is affected by ultra-sound probe wear, corrosion and age. Differences in sonication performance can be compensated by voltage adjustments to the ultra-sound probe, leading to substantial improvements in the precision and reproducibility of particle size determination.

  • Patent number: 6286846
Abstract: A suspension system for isolating a load (L) independently from two separate inputs (IA, IB), such as a pair of wheels. A slider (19) is slidably mounted to a frame member (11) supporting the load and pivotable supports a common swing-arm (23). Each end of the common swing-arm is coupled to corresponding input swing-arms by a linkage assembly (24) comprising a pair of link-arms (25A, 25B) in a manner that an input disturbance will be transferred by the corresponding input swing-arm to its link-arm which will cause a positive translation and rotation movement of the the common swing-arm relative to the the frame member, such that the common swing-arm will pivot a certain degree about the other link-arm but without substantially moving the latter, thereby maintaining the undisturbed input independent from the disturbed input. The suspension system may be applied to bicycles, motor-cycles, automobile axles and rolling vehicles in general.
