Abstract: A collapsible grate for a cooktop is provided. The collapsible grate includes a plurality of support members supported at either end at spaced locations along flexible edge strips. In preferred embodiments, each edge strip includes a plurality of sockets to receive the respective ends of the support members. The flexible edge strips allow the grate to be rolled up and folded over on itself for ease of removal and cleaning the underlying cooktop surface.

Abstract: An assembly may include a substrate defining at least one recess and a component located adjacent to the recess and attached to the substrate. In some examples, the recess may be formed by frictionally contacting a structured abrasive layer of an abrasive article with a surface of the substrate, longitudinally advancing the structured abrasive layer relative to the surface of the substrate, and rotating the substrate around a rotational axis substantially perpendicular to the surface of the substrate such that the structured abrasive layer maintains contact with and abrades the surface of the substrate thereby forming the recess therein. In some examples, the recess may be formed in the substrate after the component is attached to the substrate. Moreover, the recess may be formed without using added loose abrasive particles or abrasive slurry.

Abstract: An appliance for drying or warming associated laundry items includes a housing having a wall forming a stationary cavity dimensioned to receive the associated laundry items. At least one article support member is preferably contained within the cavity. A heater increases a temperature of associated air within the cavity and a fan circulates the heated air within the cavity. A vent is dimensioned to allow air to exit the housing cavity, and a controller regulates circulation of the associated heated air within the cavity.

Abstract: An easel pad hanger comprising: an elongated back plate having a front major surface and a rear major surface; and at least one pad support projecting from the front major surface of the back plate wherein the pad support comprises a shelf portion, a stop portion projecting from the distal end of the shelf portion, and preferably a ramp portion projecting from the distal end of the stop portion. The back plate is preferably adapted to be mounted to a support, e.g., a wall or easel stand, and is optionally adapted, e.g., with one or more shelves, openings, slots, etc. to store peripheral tools, e.g., note pads, writing instruments, calculators, etc.
