  • Patent number: 12340702
Abstract: A method for managing a longitudinal position a follower aircraft following a leader aircraft by: obtaining a position and speed of the leader aircraft and a real longitudinal position and speed of the follower aircraft; determining a target longitudinal position of the follower aircraft with respect to the longitudinal position of the leader aircraft; calculating a difference between the target longitudinal position of the follower aircraft and the real longitudinal position of the follower aircraft; comparing the value of the difference with at least one predefined threshold; choosing a control law for controlling the speed of the follower aircraft, from among at least two separate control laws, on the basis of the comparison; and, applying the chosen control law so as to manage the real longitudinal position of the follower aircraft with respect to the position of the leader aircraft.

  • Patent number: 12122282
Abstract: A recreational vehicle is disclosed comprising wheels adapted to roll along a ground surface, a chassis supported on the wheels, and a table assembly supported by the chassis and having a supporting surface adapted to support an object. The table assembly includes a stowed position in which the supporting surface defines a first plane and an extended position in which the supporting surface defines a second plane generally parallel to the first plane. The extended position is rotationally displaced from the stowed position. A center of gravity of the table member may be spaced from the wall by a first horizontal distance when in the stowed position and may be spaced from the wall by a second horizontal distance greater than the first horizontal distance when in the extended position. If desired, an upper stay member can be positioned above the table member to limit upward movement of the table member.

  • Patent number: 11876775
Abstract: Matching an internet service with an IP host address to attribute network traffic to the internet service by mapping one or more server names to an internet service by a network device by detecting a DNS Response to a DNS Query. Inspect the DNS Response to determine an association of a service consumer's IP address with an internet service's server IP address relating to a certain internet service to maintain an array of indexed entries having an association of the service consumer's IP address with an internet service's server IP address relating to a certain internet service for a certain length of time using a probabilistic data structure for the indexed entries.

  • Patent number: 11769149
Abstract: Techniques are described for managing ghost account(s) for user(s). A ghost account may be created with a ghost account number that is a digitally provisioned payment card number linked to a backend account of a user. The ghost account number may be used to conduct transactions in situations where the user may otherwise use their backend account number. One more constraints governing the use of the ghost account may be specified by the user and/or the backend account management service. For example, the user may request a ghost account to be used only to make payments to a particular merchant or service. As another example, the user may request a ghost account to be useable for a particular period of time and/or a particular number of uses. Transactions initiated through the ghost account may be completed using the backend account that is linked to the ghost account.

  • Patent number: 11687934
Abstract: Techniques are described for determining account features based on a risk assessment. A first set of account features may be determined, including security feature(s) such as mode(s) for authenticating and/or verifying the identity of a user associated with account(s). Based on the first set of features, a risk metric may be determined for the account(s). The risk metric may indicate a risk that fraud may be committed against the account or using the account. Based on the determined risk metric, a second set of account features may be determined for the account(s). The first and second sets of account feature(s) may be applied to the account(s). Disabling a particular feature may cause a reevaluation of the risk metric and a redetermination of the feature sets to be applied to the account(s).

  • Patent number: 11613460
Abstract: MEMS-based sensors can experience undesirable signal frequencies caused by vibrations, shocks, and accelerations, among other phenomena. A microisolation system can isolate individual MEMS-based sensors from undesirable signal frequencies and shocks. An embodiment of a system for microisolation of a MEMS-based sensor can include an isolation platform connected to one or more folded springs. Another embodiment of a system for microisolation can include an isolation platform and/or a frame connected to a mesh damping mechanism. In at least one embodiment, a mesh damping mechanism can be a microfibrous metal mesh damper. In one or more embodiments, a system for microisolation can include an isolation platform connected to one or more L-shaped springs, and a thickness of the one or more L-shaped springs can be less than a thickness of the isolation platform.

  • Publication number: 20230002070
Abstract: A system for aiding formation flying of a follower aircraft with respect to a wake vortex from a leader aircraft comprises a controller and at least one accelerometer installed on the follower aircraft. The controller receives acceleration measurements performed by the at least one accelerometer and processes the measurements to obtain a value representative of vibrations generated by the wake vortex from the leader aircraft. The controller compares the value with at least one predetermined threshold representative of excessive vibrations with regard to location of the at least one accelerometer on the follower aircraft. One or more notifications, such as alerts, are generated based on the result of the comparison. It is easier to position the follower aircraft in formation flying to benefit from a rising airflow phenomenon brought about by the wake vortex from the leader aircraft.

  • Patent number: 11265237
Abstract: A method includes receiving summary messages summarizing respective aggregated traffic metadata packets output from the at least one traffic management device and an engine. Each summary message identifies an origination pair having a traffic management device and an aggregation engine and a sequence number. The method further includes tracking per subinterval of a series of sub-intervals, highest and lowest sequence numbers and a count of summary messages received for each unique origination pair from the beginning of the subinterval. The method further includes accumulating, per interval, accumulated highest and lowest sequence numbers and an accumulated count of summary messages for each unique origination pair from the beginning of the interval and for all previous subintervals for tracking dropped aggregated traffic metadata packets for the interval.

  • Patent number: 11153342
Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for protecting against denial of service attacks by detecting changes in a preferred set of hierarchically-structured items in a network data stream in which a set of network destination prefixes is identified that account for a user specified target of the attack traffic. Changes in the attack traffic profile are detected and new sets of network destination prefixes are generated when the attack has shifted by a predetermined threshold. sets of identified destination prefixes are then translated into route announcements to divert attack traffic to mitigation devices.
