Patent number: 12236222Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media that support cross-server containerized application allocation, multi-tenant namespace management, and data layer deployment in an edge environment. To illustrate, containers associated with an application are deployed to edge servers based on a geographic characteristic of the edge server with respect to an edge device receiving services from the application. A common data layer is provided across the edge environment to manage communications between the different containers, and between the application and other applications of the edge environment. Managing the communication is based on namespaces and/or a modality (e.g., private or public) associated with the application. Authentication configuration of the application is used to determine edge resource access for the containers of the application.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 2021Date of Patent: February 25, 2025Assignee: Accenture Global Solutions LimitedInventors: Nicholas Akiona, Matthew Lee Austin, Andrew Nam

Publication number: 20200275720Abstract: The Concussion Reduction Prevention System is a protective helmet and shoulder pad device that may be worn by an athlete, such as a football player, during sports play to reduce the likelihood that the athlete will obtain a concussion. The helmet is large enough to allow the athlete's head to move freely within it. The helmet connects to the pad via a cradle. The cradle includes attachment points along the athlete's shoulders so that impact forces are distributed onto the athlete's shoulders. The pad is reinforced to distribute impact forces from the helmet to the athlete's shoulders.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2020Publication date: September 3, 2020Inventor: Joel Lee Austin

Patent number: 10554096Abstract: A sphere-on-sphere chassis system is disclosed. The sphere-on-sphere chassis system may include a first hollow sphere having a first diameter and a second hollow sphere positioned inside of the first sphere to form a channel therebetween. The second hollow sphere may have a second diameter. The second diameter is less than the first diameter. The sphere-on-sphere chassis system may further include a liquid filling at least a portion of the channel. The liquid may be a conductive solution. Each of the hollow spheres include a component layer with pockets for housing electromagnets, and may house wireless energy transmission devices such as resonant inductive chargers and resonant inductive receivers. The spherical device is designed so that electromagnets may be configured to emit positive and negative electromagnetic waves inwardly and outwardly with respect to the center of each sphere to create relative movement between the inner sphere and the outer sphere.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2017Date of Patent: February 4, 2020Inventor: Lee Austin Berry

The second hollow sphere may have a second diameter. The second diameter is less than the first diameter. The sphere-on-sphere chassis system may further include a liquid filling at least a portion of the channel. The liquid may be a clear, highly conductive solution. Alternatively, the channel may be filled by a gas or a vacuum may be created within the channel. Each of the first hollow sphere and the second hollow sphere includes a component layer with a unique series of pockets for housing electromagnets, and may also house wireless energy transmission devices such as resonant inductive chargers and resonant inductive receivers.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 15, 2017Publication date: December 21, 2017Inventor: Lee Austin Berry

Publication number: 20050028948Abstract: A sunshade for vehicles includes a plurality of segments each slidably secured to adjacent segments to form an elongated array which may be either extended to a full length, collapsed to a minimum storage length or partially extended to form an intermediate size array. Each segment is latched to its adjacent segment within the array to provide stable positioning. Each segment further supports a flexible subtle opaque shade segment which extends downwardly from its respective supporting segment. The entire array is positioned within a vehicle interior to provide an opaque shade covering the selected windows of the vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 7, 2004Publication date: February 10, 2005Inventor: Lee Austin

Patent number: 5570649Abstract: A boat hull structure comprising a pair of laterally-spaced hulls having V-shaped bottom portions that are each symmetrical about a vertical plane extending through its longitudinal axis. A channel defined in each bottom portion that extends substantially along the length of each hull for trapping air and water to provide lift and to reduce "stuffing". Each channel defined by a pair of spaced, parallel and vertical channel walls and a horizontal base that interconnects the channel walls. A pair of strikes defined on each bottom portion that straddles the channel to define a high speed planing surface. The strikes preferably are located at the same elevation as the base of the channel so that the boat can plane on the strikes and the base of the channel at the same time. With this construction, the planing surface area of the boat hull structure is reduced, which enhances the speed performance of the boat hull structure.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 1995Date of Patent: November 5, 1996Inventor: Lee Austin

Patent number: 5373605Abstract: An elongated track receives and supports a movable wiper arm carriage having a windshield wiper extending therefrom. A plurality of pulleys couple the wiper arm carriage to an oscillatory drive mechanism having a reciprocating carriage. The pulley and cable system provides a distance multiplication in which the wiper arm carriage moves a substantially greater distance in response to motion of the oscillatory system carriage. A single direction drive motor is coupled to the oscillatory drive which includes a rotating arm together with a pivotally supported connecting arm and slider coupled to a guide bar supported upon and coupled to the oscillatory system carriage.Type: GrantFiled: August 10, 1993Date of Patent: December 20, 1994Inventor: Lee Austin
