  • Publication number: 20190225251
Abstract: A collapsible child's stroller with a handle frame (30), a front wheel frame (10) and a rear wheel frame (20), mutually connected at a hinge joint (12, 22, 42) for mutual angular displacement between folded and unfolded configurations. The hinge joint has two spaced apart, parallel hinge axes, about which the frames (10, 20, 30) mutually rotate. The stroller is further provided with a locking element (43, 44) moveable between a locked position in which the frames (10, 20, 30) are locked in the unfolded configuration, and an unlocked position allowing the frames (10, 20, 30) to rotate to the folded configuration. The locking element (43, 44) moves in a direction traverse to the parallel hinge axes to better transfer loads between the frames.

  • Publication number: 20130209730
Abstract: A process and apparatus for producing a multilayered panel of material. In a first step an oriented single-layered mat is formed in a forming station from resinated particulate longitudinally orientable in machine direction, the single-layered mat is compressed in a continuous working press to form an oriented single-layered panel strand, the single-layered panel strand is subdivided at least once by a subdividing device into oriented single-layered panels, wherein a layered pack comprising three layers at least, or a layered pack strand comprising of three layers at least, is formed in a laying device and single-layered panels are used in two layers at least.

  • Publication number: 20110052345
Abstract: The invention relates to a fastening means for use in joining components together and/or providing a ground or earth connection. The fastening means includes a formation (28), typically provided on the underside (30) of the head (24) of the fastening means. The formation is provided such that when the fastening means is driven into a component, the formation pierces through at least one layer (8) of material of the component to substantially separate a portion of the material from the remainder of the layer. This can be used to allow the remainder of the material to be removed and/or connection with an underlying layer to be achieved.

  • Patent number: 6877609
Abstract: The invention relates to a package and method of transportation for items of electrical apparatus. The items are required to be packaged for transport from the manufacturing location to a storage facility and then on to an end user. At the storage facility, preinstallation checks and procedures, also called staging, are performed on the items of apparatus including, in some instances the downloading of software and control features via electrical connection. The invention avoids the conventional need to remove the items of apparatus at the storage location for the performance of the checks and procedures by providing a package with selectively removable portions which, when removed, allow the required access to the components of the apparatus without needing to remove same from the package.
