Abstract: An asymmetric key cryptographic system is used to generate a cryptographic certificate for authenticating a memory module. This certificate is generated based on information, readable by the authenticator (e.g., host system), from at least one device on the memory module that is not read in order to obtain the certificate. For example, the certificate for authenticating a module may be stored in the nonvolatile memory of a serial presence detect device. The certificate itself, however, is based at least in part on information read from at least one other device on the memory module. Examples of this other device include a registering clock driver, DRAM device(s), and/or data buffer device(s). In an embodiment, the information read from a device (e.g., DRAM) may be based on one or more device fingerprint(s) derived from physical variations that occur naturally, and inevitably, during integrated circuit manufacturing.

Abstract: A boat and a propeller assembly for a boat. The propeller assembly includes a propeller and a thrust bearing, and the thrust bearing is made of a harder material than the propeller. The boat may also include a hull, a drive shaft, and a motor. The motor may be positioned within the hull and configured to rotate the drive shaft. The drive shaft may extend through a hull bottom of the hull and the propeller assembly may be positioned forward of a transom of the hull and beneath the hull bottom. The propeller may include a central hub having a hole capable of having the drive shaft inserted therethrough. The thrust bearing may be located in the hole of the central hub and secured to the propeller such that the thrust bearing and the propeller form a unified assembly.

Abstract: Methods and systems for filing a divorce using an on line portal having an associated database without revealing the forms filed with the court to the user. The method includes interrogating the database to identify required forms; eliciting predetermined information from the user; populating the forms using the elicited information; and filing the populated forms in court; wherein the forms are not displayed to the user.
