Patent number: 7086543Abstract: In one embodiment, a shelving apparatus generally includes a track and a standard. The track includes a support portion having an upper support surface and an extension extending generally outwardly from the support portion. The standard includes a back surface having an opening. When the support portion is within the opening, an upper surface of the opening contacts the upper support surface of the support portion, and the extension is engagingly received within a portion of the opening. This engagement of the extension within the portion of the opening can inhibit disengagement of the standard from the track.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 2005Date of Patent: August 8, 2006Assignee: Clairson, Inc.Inventor: Lee E. Patent number: 5755414Abstract: A hanger assembly for suspending a wheelbarrow along a wall and above a floor includes a hook mounted on the wall at a height from the floor at which it will engage a lip on the wheelbarrow bed without the lip's being lifted manually which it will support the wheelbarrow above the floor when the wheelbarrow is tilted around he hook as a fulcrum toward the wall. An upper hook is mounted on the wall above the lower hook. The upper hook is mounted for rotation away from the wheelbarrow lip to permit the lip to move between the upper hook and the wall and for rotation toward the lip to engage the lip to retain the wheelbarrow in its wall mounted position until the upper hook is rotated manually to release the lip.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 1996Date of Patent: May 26, 1998Assignee: Clairson, Inc.Inventor: Lee E. Patent number: 5407084Abstract: The glide runner support of the present invention is comprised of a pair of longitudinal members, spaced apart and aligned parallel with one another, each one being formed having a centrally located longitudinal interior channel extending the length thereof with a stop at one end. A holding bracket forming "C-shaped" flanges is integrally formed on each end of the longitudinal members for attachment of a support frame. A container such as a drawer, wire basket, or other organizer container having a pair of support members extending therefrom, such as a pair of support rods or lips, slidably engage the longitudinal interior channels of the longitudinal members.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 1993Date of Patent: April 18, 1995Assignee: Vermont American CorporationInventor: Lee E. Patent number: 5351842Abstract: The shelf and support assembly of the present invention utilizes a unique curved-front, wall mounted, ventilated shelving system using one type of bracket with one type of shelf and an optional hang rod assembly to make shelving systems for a linen type shelf system and a wardrobe shelf system. The shelf is removably mounted to a pair of shelf support brackets which support the shelf in a horizontal plane when the support brackets are secured to an associated wall. The shelving system is unique in that the shelf includes a plurality of transverse members which are removably and securely snapped into place via a friction fit within a plurality of transverse slots formed into the top surface of the brackets. No additional hardware is needed to hold the shelf in position. A hang rod adapter is formed having a sleeve which slidingly supports a hang rod.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 1993Date of Patent: October 4, 1994Assignee: Vermont AmericanInventor: Lee E. Remmers

Patent number: RE44016Abstract: The present invention is a wall anchor having a novel finger configuration. This wall anchor has a head and barrel portion with a bore extending therethrough and laterally expandable fingers in general alignment with the bore. Instead of a straight channel, a channel having curved portions separates the fingers. The curved portions of the channel define ramp surfaces that at least partially extend into the path of a securing member created by the bore. Thus, when a securing member, such as a bolt, pin, screw, nail or similar object is inserted into the bore to secure the wall anchor to the wall, the securing member contacts the two ramp surfaces, separating the fingers. As the fingers separate, a portion of the fingers near the ramp surfaces deform such that the ramp surfaces rest on an outer portion of the securing member, thus providing a securing force for connecting the wall anchor to the wall and relieving stress on the area at which the fingers are connected to the barrel.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2004Date of Patent: February 19, 2013Assignee: Clairson, Inc.Inventor: Lee E.
