Abstract: The present teaching relates to method, system, medium, and implementations for authenticating a user. A first request is received to set up authentication information with respect to a user, wherein the first request specifies a type of information to be used for future authentication of the user. It is determined whether the type of information related to the user poses risks based on a reverse information search result. The type of information for being used for future authentication of the user is rejected when the type of information is determined to pose risks.

Abstract: While performing a tomosynthesis procedure, the breast of a patient is compressed between two compression elements to create an imaging condition. Foam is secured to the rigid substrate of a one of the compression elements. The patient's chest wall is aligned with the leading edge surface of the foam. The inner side of the breast is disposed proximate the lateral edge surface of the foam and the outer side of the breast is disposed proximate the outer lateral edge surface of the foam. A mid-plane is disposed between the inner and outer lateral edge surfaces of the foam. An interface connects a leading edge surface of the foam and compressive surfaces. A portion of the leading edge surface which is aligned with the mid-plane is incompletely compressed.

Abstract: The present invention provides pyridine and pyrazine derivatives which restore or enhance the function of mutant and/or wild type CFTR to treat cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, chronic bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, respiratory tract infections, lung carcinoma, xerostomia and keratoconjunctivitis sire, or constipation (IBS, IBD, opioid induced). Pharmaceutical compositions comprising such derivatives are also encompassed.

Abstract: A system and method for moderating and facilitating a resolution to disagreements and disputes between individuals on a set of facts comprising, an online platform with a courtroom and judge accepting inputs from defined users of the platform who have specific disagreements on a subject matter and promoting an open and fair discussion between the parties to find a resolution to their disagreements. The system and method of the platform allows intervention and assistance by invited third parties to help the fact creator or one or more challengers disputing the set of facts, to establish whether the statements of facts made by the fact creator are true or false. Cases are settled either by way of one of the parties to the dispute conceding, or by having the judge decide the veracity of the facts presented by the fact creator.

Abstract: The present application relates to methods and apparatus for delivering liquid or solid feedstocks into a plasma treatment vessel. More specifically, the invention provides a method for treating a sample using glow discharge plasma in an apparatus comprising a treatment vessel, the method comprising (i) delivering a gaseous plasma forming feedstock into the treatment vessel through a gas supply line under the control of a gas flow controller, and causing formation of a glow discharge plasma in the treatment vessel from the gaseous plasma forming feedstock; and simultaneously (ii) delivering a reagent into the treatment vessel under the control of a reagent dosing controller, wherein the reagent is a liquid or a solid; and (iii) contacting the sample with the glow discharge plasma and the reagent; wherein the gas flow controller and the reagent dosing controller allow independent control of the rate of delivery of the gaseous plasma forming feedstock and the reagent.

Abstract: An image of a garment is obtained (101). The garment comprises a marker located on an outside surface of the garment. The marker comprises a code string identifying the garment encoded into a visual symbol. The image is processed to generate a data string representing the visual symbol (102). The data string is used to access activity data associated with a sensor of the garment identified by the code string. The system comprises the garment and one or more electronic devices operable to perform the method.

Abstract: Zone hints for use with a zoned namespace (ZNS) storage device. Zone hints include one or more of a first hint indicating that a zone is part of a group of a plurality of zones, a second hint indicating that the zone is to be fast-filled, or a third hint indicating that the zone is associated with a background operation. The first hint is structured to instruct the ZNS storage device to allocate to the zone a first storage resources that are physically adjacent to second storage resources reserved for others of the plurality of zones. The second hint is structured to instruct the ZNS storage device to bypass a staging area when writing to the zone. The third hint is structured to instruct the ZNS storage device to deprioritizing at least one operation writing to the zone, or to bypass the staging area when writing to the zone.

Abstract: A seat track assembly for use in a vehicle. The seat track assembly includes a floor joist including a main body extending in a longitudinal direction, a seat track channel defined in the main body, and at least one support flange extending in a lateral direction from the main body. A raceway is on the at least one support flange, wherein the raceway extends longitudinally along the floor joist, and has an interior sized to receive wiring therein. The seat track assembly also includes a track cover including a top plate. The raceway is positioned between the at least one support flange and the top plate, and the top plate extends past the raceway in the lateral direction.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for recreating a state of a clinical computing system for indicating that a specific activity corresponding to a patient increased prior to an event. Sets of data elements for a patient are extracted from the clinical computing system. State changes for each data element are identified. The state of the clinical computing system is recreated prior to the event by concatenating the sets of data elements based on the state changes for each respective data element.

Abstract: A tire lifting assembly used to remove and replace a wheel and a tire on a vehicle is disclosed. The tire lifting assembly is configured to take the weight of the wheel and the tire when the service technician removes or replaces it thereby eliminating the need for manual efforts from a service technician. The assembly is rolled under the mounted wheel and tire and quickly adjusted to secure the wheel and tire by using a roller platform. A scissor jack mechanism is used to adjust the height of the roller platform which allows the rotation of the tire during the mounting procedure.

Abstract: The present teaching relates to method, system, medium, and implementation for secure data management by a service provider. A request is first received for carrying out a transaction with a user and one or more data items associated with the user are then determined that need to be validated prior to the transaction. A request is then sent to the user seeking to validate the one or more data items. When a cloaked identifier is received from the user with information related to a trusted party, the cloaked identifier is then sent to the trusted party with a request for a validation response. When the validation response is received with an indication that the one or more data items are validated, the transaction with the user is carried out.

Abstract: A reversible rod holder apparatus and method consists of a frame with a front, a back, a top side, a bottom side, a left side and a right side. An attachment plate is connected with the back of the frame. A support is provided where the support and the attachment plate are removably connectable and a rod sleeve is connected with the front of the frame at an angle from the left side to the right side of the frame such that a rod placed in the rod sleeve is held at that angle.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-storage media are provided for generating graphical representations of audit events. A party-of-interest is represented by a central node, and one or more peripheral nodes surrounding the central node represent parties having electronic records accessed by the party-of-interest during a selected time frame. The size of the peripheral nodes represents a frequency of access of the node's respective electronic record. Each of the peripheral nodes is actionable enabling a user to view information related to the audit event.
