  • Patent number: 5165783
Abstract: A framed picture illuminating device comprises a light fixture having a bracket for attachment to the picture frame and a shelf portion to project forwardly from the frame, an elongated housing structure has a base wall resting on the shelf portion, an elongated concave reflector supported by the housing is reflective toward the picture, a fluorescent light tube is supported operatively in the reflector. The housing is adjustable on the shelf portion in keeping with the cross sectional width of the frame bar to which attached and for attaining desired illumination results with respect to the subject matter of the picture.

  • Patent number: 4060938
Abstract: The glass beveling machine has a table for supporting a piece of glass to be beveled, and glass bevel grinding and polishing means in the form of wheels which may have individual driving heads mounted for adjustment relative to the table for selective angle and depth of bevel. Relative movement of the grinding and polishing means and the table in a glass beveling operation is preferably effected by reciprocating the table. For holding the glass piece in place on the table during the beveling operation retaining curb means and a vacuum plenum are carried by the table. Coolant and polishing solution drain-off is facilitated by tilted mounting of the table toward collection trough means.

  • Patent number: 4053288
Abstract: A hand fed glass beveling apparatus comprises table means for slidably supporting a hand manipulated glass piece to be beveled under a grinding and polishing head including a spindle selectively carrying a grinding wheel or a polishing wheel and driven by a motor on a mount permitting adjustments for incremental variations in width of bevel. An edge gauging stop is carried by the table means under the head. Selectively, dual streams of coolant water or polishing solution are directed to the working surface of the wheel under a splash guard hood. The table means include spaced limited contact knobs which facilitate maneuvering the glass piece relative to the wheel.
