    Abstract: A device, system and method for transmitting one or more of annotations and video prior to a video call is provided. A communication device receives a request for a video call from a first communication device, of other communication devices. Prior to the video call being established, the communication device: determines whether a user of the first communication device is an authorized caller; and when the user of the first communication device is an authorized caller, transmits, to the first communication device, one or more of annotations received at the input device and video from a video camera. The determination of whether a user of the first communication device is an authorized caller is based on profile data associated with users of one or more of the other communication devices.
