  • Publication number: 20190015849
Abstract: Irrigation nozzles are provided that irrigate a full circle coverage area with different maximum throw radiuses. The nozzle may include two bodies, one nested within the other, that acting together form the full circle coverage area. The two bodies collectively define an annular exit orifice with one of the bodies defining the inner radius and the other body defining the outer radius. A flow restrictable inlet may be used to adjust flow through the nozzle and to adjust the maximum throw radius. The nozzle may also include a flow reduction valve to reduce the throw radius from a maximum distance and may be adjusted by actuation of an outer wall of the nozzle. • Patent number: 10148665
Abstract: A provider of a subscription-based online service provides use of the online service to an end-user of an organization. A tenant account request is received from an administrator of the organization to establish a tenant account and authorize the end-user to acquire a subscription for the end-user to use the online service directly from the provider thereof. A subscription request is then received from the end-user to acquire the subscription for the end-user to use the online service. An individual license to use the online service is then assigned to the end-user, where this license allows just the end-user to access and use the online service. This individual license is then provided to the end-user.

  • Patent number: 10116587
Abstract: Techniques for electronic distribution of software applications to users and devices belonging to a single network domain, wherein such applications are configurable to provide multiple service levels. In an aspect, a first service level is provided to users and/or devices sharing the same network domain. Upon request by an admin of the network domain, an application control server verifies the admin's control of the domain, as well as fulfillment of conditions for accessing a second service level. Upon verification of control and fulfillment, the application control server allows access by the admin to an admin portal. The application control server further reassigns the service level of users and/or devices sharing the network domain from the first service level to the second service level.

  • Publication number: 20180236198
Abstract: A respiratory mask for use with a patient, and that is suited for use with children, includes a flexible cushion arranged to interface with and deliver air to the patient's nose. The cushion has a tube connection portion at one or both sides adjacent the patient's nares, the tube connection portion being arranged to connect to an air delivery tube. This location, plus the very low profile of the mask, allows a patient (e.g. an infant) to sleep on their face more comfortably. A more rigid support structure adjacent the cushion is provided to stabilize the cushion and prevent it from collapsing. Headgear is also provided and arranged for releasable attachment to the support structure.

  • Publication number: 20180224400
Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods and apparatus for ion separation, for example using time of flight and ion mobility spectrometry. Ion shutters for use in IMS cells and to methods of operating them are also disclosed. The shutter includes a first shutter electrode and a second shutter electrode. A barrier voltage between these two electrodes is controlled to open and close the shutter to allow ions of interest to pass through the shutter in a drift direction. The control involves varying both: (a) the voltage of the first shutter electrode; and (b) the voltage of the second shutter electrode.

  • Publication number: 20180220736
Abstract: A system and a method of asymmetric shock absorption and torsion cushioning for footwear. The asymmetric shock absorption system providing an upper plate attached to the upper section of the footwear and a lower plate attached to the lower section of the footwear. The upper plate may be in direct contact with or spaced apart from the lower plate. A flexible perimeter band extends around the entire perimeter of the sole of the footwear and permanently connects the upper section to the lower section of the footwear. The flexible perimeter band may have a low-profile and extend around only the perimeter of the upper and lower plates. The flexible perimeter band may wrap around one or more plate to provide for limited horizontal movement, e.g., lateral, longitudinal, or both lateral and longitudinal, between the upper section of the footwear and the lower section of the footwear.

  • Publication number: 20180141060
Abstract: An irrigation nozzle with a rotating deflector is provided whose rotational speed may be controlled by a friction brake. The nozzle may also include an arc adjustment valve having two portions that helically engage each other to define an opening that may be adjusted at the top of the sprinkler to a desired arcuate length. The arcuate length may be adjusted by pressing down and rotating a deflector to directly actuate the valve. The nozzle may also include a radius reduction valve that may be adjusted by actuation of an outer wall of the nozzle. Rotation of the outer wall causes a flow control member to move axially to or away from an inlet.
