  • Patent number: 11959414
Abstract: Operating a gaseous fuel engine includes spark-igniting gaseous hydrogen fuel and air, and propagating combustion gases of the spark-ignited mixture outwardly from a spark gap. The propagating combustion gases are impinged upon a cone surface of a piston so as to limit a flame area of the propagating combustion gases. Additional gaseous hydrogen fuel and air is ignited in the combustion cylinder by way of the propagating combustion gases to urge a piston toward a bottom-dead-center position.

  • Patent number: 9550131
Abstract: A plurality of toy and accessory figurines are provided which may be arranged in any number of configurations to provide a response upon the formation of a closed electrical circuit. The toy figurines comprise two electrical contacts which, when closed with an external connection source, provide a response stimuli, such as one or a combination of light, sound and/or motion. The toy figurines may be configured to provide the closed electrical circuit. Alternatively, direct skin contact with the electrical contacts may provide the closed electrical circuit. The accessory figurines provide a further level of interaction. The accessory toy figurines comprise a magnetic switch which is actuated between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The magnetic switch is actuated to a closed configuration to close the electrical circuit when in proximity with a conductive metal, such as the electrical contact of the toy figurine, to deliver a response stimuli.

  • Publication number: 20070054589
Abstract: The disclosure relates to toy figures, corresponding play sets and play set accessories. In particular, the toy figures have a body portion comprising at least two articulated appendages and a magnetic base portion disposed at the bottom of the body portion, wherein the magnetic base portion has a distinct shape permitting the magnetic base portion to be detachably coupled with a recess of compatible shape. Additionally, corresponding play set and play set accessories can have magnetic, distinctly shaped recesses for receiving the particular distinctly shaped base of the toy figure. Thus, the magnetic base portion and the recess of a play set or play set accessory have essentially the same distinct shape.
