  • Patent number: 6789337
Abstract: A screening apparatus is removably connected to a prime mover having an excavating bucket or loading shovel. The screening apparatus includes a material feed conveyor that feeds material to a screening device. A mounting mechanism and associated adjustment mechanism are used to detachably and movably mount the screening apparatus to support structure on the prime mover, with the conveyor being located adjacent the bucket or loading shovel for receiving unscreened material into the screening apparatus from the bucket or loading shovel during use.

  • Publication number: 20020124441
Abstract: A screening apparatus (6) is removably connected to front arms (7) of an excavator (1) by means of quick release couplings to enable the screening apparatus to be quickly attached and removed as required. Material is fed to the screening apparatus (6) by means of a conveyor (2) attached to the side of the back-hoe excavator (1). The excavating shovel (5) is used to load material into hopper (9) at the lower end of the conveyor (2) to allow the material to be conveyed upwardly. The excavator (1) can move on wheels (3). The screened material may fall directly to the ground or onto a stock piling conveyor located adjacent the screening apparatus (6). The screening apparatus may also be mounted on a tracked excavating machine.

  • Patent number: 4381235
Abstract: A screening apparatus comprising a rectangular screening frame and a multiplicity of parallel wires which are tensioned across the screening frame has a plurality of support bars with guide slots in order to support additionally each wire. The support bars are axially rotatably and interchangeably secured to the screening frame thus allowing to use the same screening frame for different string assemblies with different distances between the wires. If guide slots for different wire spacings are provided at different sides of a support bar, the same frame and the same support bars can be used for different string assemblies. The arrangement according to the invention allows an easy and rapid change of string assemblies on the same screening frame.

  • Patent number: 4058198
Abstract: A conveyor assembly comprises a main conveyor and a boom conveyor. A mounting is pivotally connected at the discharge end of said main conveyor for movement about a transverse axis relative to said main conveyor, said mounting having a rotatable support on which the boom conveyor is mounted for pivotal movement laterally. A linkage retains said mounting in a horizontal position extended outwardly beyond said discharge end with said rotatable support upright. The support has an attachment device at its upper end providing for pivotal connection about a transverse axis of said boom conveyor for movement thereof in a vertical plane, the boom conveyor being supported by a length-adjustable tie from said mounting. The linkage comprises a series of interconnected pivotal links between said mounting and said main conveyor to provide for synchronized adjustment of the mounting to maintain the support upright on alteration of the inclination of said main conveyor.
