Abstract: A system and method for assisting companies and employers in complying with various laws, rules and regulations regarding employee health care benefits and insurance plans, specifically including the Affordable Care Act. In one embodiment, web-based software is programmed to receive data from an employer on a regular basis, and then uses the data to make certain determinations regarding employee eligibility for health care benefits, to provide alerts to employers, and to generate reports. The software is programmed to notify the employer regarding crucial deadlines, changes in status of employees that may trigger health care plan eligibility, and alert the employer when steps must be taken for the employer to maintain compliance with such laws, rules and regulations.
