Patent number: 9152651Abstract: A ticket entry system and method includes a program management system that receives contact information and a search criteria for a locate request. The program management system transmits the search criteria to a spatial management system that geocodes the search criteria and retrieves map data from a data management system corresponding to the search criteria geocode. The spatial management system transmits the map data to the program management system, which transmits the map data to a user interface. The user interface receives an indication of a site location where the operation is to be performed. The program management system transmits the site location indication to the spatial management system. The spatial management system geocodes the site location indication and transmits the site location geocode to the program management system. The program management system creates a locate ticket, which comprises the site location geocode and the contact information.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2004Date of Patent: October 6, 2015Assignee: CELERITASWORKS, LLCInventors: Scott A. Patent number: 8347513Abstract: A hand-held saw with a rigid saw frame is disclosed. The rigid frame of the hand-held saw allows a saw blade to remain highly tensioned during the cutting process. The rigid saw frame has a “C-shape,” is unbent, and contains openings that make up a truss-like structure, which distributes an external force that is focused on one portion of the saw frame across other portions of the saw frame.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2010Date of Patent: January 8, 2013Inventor: Buster Lee Marshall

Patent number: 4796813Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing viscous fluid material having one-piece nozzles which produce a supply of drops of fluid material. The nozzles each include a nozzle body having a first end and a dispensing end. A gas flow path through the nozzle body has an array of outlet sections which terminate at the dispensing end of the nozzle body. The inlet section of the gas flow path is a cylindrical bore which feeds a stream of gas to each of the outlet sections. A plurality of viscous fluid material passageways closely surround the outlet sections of the gas flow path. As a stream of material is discharged from each material passageway, the expansion of gas emerging from the gas outlet sections breaks up the flowing material, thereby applying the material in a spray of droplets even though both the gas flow and material flow are continuous. The first ends of nozzles are attached to an elongated dispensing bar of an applicator.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 1988Date of Patent: January 10, 1989Assignee: Slautterback CorporationInventor: Lee Marshall

Patent number: 4635820Abstract: An apparatus for unloading heat meltable material from a container including a vertically moveable platen assembly having a platen supported by a platen carriage. The weight of the platen assembly is trapped between a balance spring which urges the platen assembly upwardly and a pressure spring which exerts a downward pressure on the platen assembly. The springs are fixed about a motor driven lead screw retaining the balance spring against the platen assembly from below and a pressure adjusting nut retaining the pressure spring against the platen assembly from above. Descent of the lead screw without an equivalent movement by the platen assembly will cause a disequilibrium in spring tensions as the balance spring expands and the pressure spring compresses. A limiting switch restricts the amount the lead screw can move after platen contact with the heat meltable material prevents further platen carriage movement.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 1986Date of Patent: January 13, 1987Assignee: Slautterback CorporationInventor: Lee Marshall

Patent number: 4421124Abstract: A pressure detection arrangement embedded between the skin of a portion of the body and a means used to surround and/or immobilize that particular part of the body, such as a cast. The pressure detection arrangement is a bifurcated capsule having a reservoir cavity and an indicator cavity. A colored fluid is initially contained only within the reservoir cavity by either a frangible disc across the conjunction of the indicator cavity with the reservoir cavity or an extensible bladder within the reservoir cavity. The indicator cavity is transparent or translucent and protrudes through the cast to regions external thereto. If there is swelling of the limb due to medical complications, the skin presses against the capsule and either breaks the frangible disc allowing the colored fluid to pass into the indicator cavity or forces the extensible bladder into the indicator cavity of the capsule. Both methods provide a visual indication in the indicator cavity of excessive pressure on the limb.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 1981Date of Patent: December 20, 1983Inventor: Lee Marshall

Patent number: H1746Abstract: An absorbent article is disclosed for absorbing liquids, including body fluids such as menstrual discharges or urine. The absorbent article has a liquid impermeable backsheet on which is disposed an absorbent core, and first and second liquid permeable topsheet layers. The edge of the absorbent core defines a perimeter, and the first and second topsheet layers and the backsheet each extend laterally beyond the perimeter to define a continuous border segment surrounding the absorbent core. A liquid impermeable seal is formed in the border segment which surrounds the perimeter for preventing lateral migration of liquid from the absorbent core beyond the seal. The seal is formed to extend from an outer surface of the first topsheet layer to an outer surface of the backsheet, for establishing a capillary gradient in the second topsheet layer, thereby inhibiting wicking of fluid therethrough.Type: GrantFiled: January 22, 1997Date of Patent: August 4, 1998Assignee: The Procter & Gamble CompanyInventors: Michael Edward Carrier, Robert E.
