  • Publication number: 20100125609
Abstract: A multimedia file embedded on a computer readable storage medium has a file format comprising a file header section including metadata describing the multimedia file; and a file body section including a frame information section for each frame in a sequence of frames in the multimedia file.

  • Publication number: 20100000590
Abstract: A photovoltaic electrochromic device includes a semi-transparent thin-film solar cell substrate, an electrochromic solution, and a transparent non-conductive substrate, wherein the electrochromic solution is located between the transparent non-conductive substrate and the semi-transparent thin-film solar cell substrate. The semi-transparent thin-film solar cell substrate includes a transparent substrate and a plurality of thin-film solar cells, wherein the anodes and the cathodes of the thin-film solar cells are also used as the anodes and the cathodes of the photovoltaic electrochromic device. Because a driving voltage of the electrochromic solution is low, the thickness of an intrinsic layer in each of the thin-film solar cells can be thinned, which increases the transmittance of the photovoltaic electrochromic device. Besides, the current output of the photovoltaic electrochromic device can be controlled by an additional output switch layout coupled with the thin-film solar cells.

  • Publication number: 20070153355
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrochromic film. The invention demonstrates the electrochromic effect of a single substrate film by applying electronic current to induce a reversible oxidation-reduction reaction of an organic electrochromic layer. The electrochromic film can attach to a surface of an object with the using of an adhesive layer.

  • Publication number: 20060221180
Abstract: A user portable viewing device (D) includes a plurality of non-coaxially aligned sensors (26 and 32) for sensing a scene (74). A processing element (P) combines electronic images into a single electronic image. A display (24) displaying the combined electronic image is adaptable for mounting in an optical axis (A1) including an eye (20) of the user (U) and an input end (28) of the first sensor 26 for direct view. In a second embodiment, a system for fusing images comprises sensors (52 and 56) for generating sets of image data. An information processor (P) receives and samples the sets of image data to generate sample data for computing a fused image array. A display (24) receives the fused image array and displays a fused colorized image generated from the fused image array.

  • Patent number: 5906233
Abstract: Disclosed are improved horizontal venetian blind safety pull cord rigging systems and several embodiments of improved break-open safety pull cord tassels for detachably intercoupling two or more manipulating runs of Venetian blind hoisting halyards. A safe single pull cord is suspended in an improved manner from the lowest tassel used in the rigging array. Either the tassel(s) or a slack preventer on each halyard run engages the frame rail, or halyard lock mechanism therein, when the blind is lowered the desired maximum amount so that insufficient slack then remains in the blind-slat-entrained halyard runs to form a strangulation loop by slack pull-out. Two or three break-open safety tassels are arrayed and rigged to handle three and four halyard cord blinds. The "high level" safety tassel can thus also serve as a safe equalizer as well as insuring level blind operation.
