  • Patent number: 10807571
Abstract: An adjustable motor mounting system having an adjustable motor mount and a gear box with a motor. The adjustable motor mount has a first plate attached slidably to I-beams on a frame of a semi-trailer and attached to a second plate with a hinge so that the second plate is rotatable relative to the first plate. A third plate is attached slidably to the second plate and has a mounting plate attached thereto. The gear box is attached to the mounting plate and to a landing gear crankshaft of the semi-trailer. The adjustable motor mounting system renders the gear box movable towards or away from the landing gear crankshaft, movable leftward or rightward of the landing gear crankshaft, and movable upward or downward relative to the landing gear crankshaft.

  • Patent number: 10589727
Abstract: An adjustable motor mount having a first plate with a first side and a second opposite side, a second plate, and a third plate. The first plate is connected to the second plate with a first hinge and the second plate is connected to the third plate with a second hinge. The second plate is rotatable relative to the first plate and the third plate is rotatable relative to the second plate. The third plate can be raised or lowered relative to the first plate and can be moved towards or away from the first plate. The first plate and the second plate may have spaced hinge members, as an alternate embodiment so that the second plate is slidable towards the first side and the second side of the first plate. The adjustable motor mount allows a motor to be easily moved upward, downward, left, right, towards, and away from a crank shaft of a landing gear drive mechanism.

  • Patent number: 8061572
Abstract: A cargo carrier having a U-shaped hitch sleeve on its bottom and legs with wheels on its sides. A hitch shaft is inserted into a trailer hitch on a vehicle and the U-shaped hitch sleeve fits over the hitch shaft. The legs have an internal screw type jack mechanism to raise and lower the cargo carrier to place the U-shaped hitch sleeve above and over the hitch shaft, and to raise the legs so that the vehicle can transport the cargo carrier on the hitch shaft without having to remove the legs. The wheels allow the cargo carrier to be portable when not connected to the vehicle. They also allow the U-shaped hitch sleeve to be aligned above the hitch shaft to permit lowering the U-shaped hitch sleeve down over the hitch shaft for the insertion of bolts through the U-shaped hitch sleeve and hitch shaft, thereby fastening the cargo carrier to the hitch shaft.

The legs can be rotatably mounted to the cargo carrier to provide additional clearance of the legs above the ground by rotating them, once the cargo carrier hitch sleeve is connected to the hitch shaft inserted in the vehicle trailer hitch.
