Abstract: A rear-window wind deflector comprising a channel plate having a leading edge, a trailing edge, and a plurality of substantially parallel channels therebetween. The cross-section of each channel decreases smoothly from the leading edge to the trailing edge. Means are provided for mounting the channel plate directly on the rear window of a vehicle with the trailing edge over the window and the leading edge cantilevered over the vehicle body forward of the window. In a preferred emobdiment, the channel plate and the channels therein are crescent-shaped.
