  • Patent number: 11716986
Abstract: A mouse catching and killing device and a method of eliminating mice with the mouse catching and killing device, the device including a jaw. The method comprises the steps of holding the jaw open until a mouse is sensed in the jaw, closing the jaw when a mouse is sensed in the jaw, providing a mechanism on a frame for moving the jaw to over a storage bin, opening the jaw so that the mouse falls from the jaw into the storage bin, and then returning the trap to its mouse ready position.

  • Publication number: 20060117630
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an improved card holder comprising a pair of parallel arms connected to one another in a spaced apart relationship. A resilient gripping material is included, preferably as finger-like appendages, on at least a portion of the inside surfaces of the spaced apart arms, such that when an ID card or the like is inserted into the space between the arms, the resilient gripping material compresses sufficiently to allow insertion, but also provides a secure gripping for retention of the ID card or the like, thereby preventing slippage of the card from the holder. To remove the inserted ID card or the like, force adequate to overcome the gripping is applied to the card, thereby permitting removal of the card from the holder. The amount of force needed will vary with the nature and thickness of the card, the gripping material, and the like. The holding power will likewise vary.

  • Patent number: 7007882
Abstract: A retractable badge reel with a billboard designed to display a logo, such that unadorned badge reels can be manufactured separately from the billboards that contain the logos. The billboard is optionally removable, allowing the logo being displayed to be changed without having to produce new retractable badge reels in their entirety. In another embodiment, a billboard designed to display a logo is adapted to be installed over the face of an existing retractable badge reel, such that the logo on the existing unit is hidden and the new logo on the billboard is instead displayed. A casement comprising the billboard and a back housing member have a mating portion that mates with a bob mating portion of a bob attached to the exterior end of the retractable cord to prevent the bob from shifting or twisting when the cord is in the retracted position.

  • Patent number: 6644568
Abstract: A top-feed electronic fuel injector for an internal combustion engine includes an injector body having a valve seat disposed opposite a generally cylindrical bore of nominal inner diameter defined within the injector body. A needle valve moves within the passage between a closed position against the valve seat, as urged by a coil spring disposed within the bore, and an open position away from the valve seat. The coil spring is seated against an end face a spring adjustment tube that is pressed into the bore. The spring adjustment tube, which is formed of rolled sheet stock to provide a “spiral-wound” configuration featuring at least 1.5 turns, end-to-end, when the spring adjustment tube is viewed in a transverse section, resiliently presses against the walls of the bore to maintain its position and, hence, calibrate the spring force applied to the needle valve.
