  • Publication number: 20230405694
Abstract: A chop saw power tool for cutting metal is described. The chop saw power tool has a saw base and a cutting head assembly. The saw base has: a support structure and a workpiece support table having a workpiece support surface to receive a workpiece. The workpiece support table is rotatable in a plane of the workpiece support surface relative to the support structure to select an angle of cut of the workpiece. The cutting head assembly has: a circular cutting blade on the cutting head assembly and an axis of rotation such that the circular cutting blade rotates within a cutting plane arranged in a fixed orientation perpendicular to the plane of the workpiece support surface. The cutting head assembly is pivotable relative to the saw base in a direction parallel to the cutting plane. The cutting head assembly is linearly moveable relative to the workpiece support table.

  • Patent number: 11637494
Abstract: Current sensing in an on-die direct current-direct current (DC-DC) converter for measuring delivered power is disclosed. A DC-DC converter converts input voltage to output current at an output voltage coupled to a load circuit. The DC-DC converter includes a high side driver (HSD) circuit to drive the output current in a first stage, and a low side driver (LSD) circuit to couple the power output to a negative supply rail (GND) in a second phase, output current being periodic. The DC-DC converter includes an amplifier circuit to equalize an output voltage and a mirror voltage. Based on the mirror voltage, the current sensing circuit generates mirror current that corresponds to driver current. The mirror current can be measured as a representation of the output current delivered to the load circuit. A plurality of the DC-DC converters can provide multi-phased current to the load circuit for providing power to the load circuit.

  • Patent number: 11173682
Abstract: A refuse truck body having a main compartment and at least one side compartment includes shields to close a rear opening of the compartments. A respective pushing device is provided for discharging refuse from each compartment. In a closed position, the shield is latched to the truck body by a locking device that selectively locks and unlocks each shield against its opening. A sequencing system is operatively connected between a lock for the packing unit and the actuator for closing and latching the shields, which prevents unlocking and raising the packing unit before the shields are closed and latched to the truck body. A sequencing system is operatively connected between the pushing device for a compartment and the actuator for closing and latching the shields, which prevents operation of the pushing device to discharge refuse from the compartment unless the shield for that compartment is unlatched.

  • Patent number: 10895040
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for removing water from a wet fibrous web. During the process of making a fibrous structure, a capillary dewatering apparatus remove water from a wet porous web. In some configurations, a capillary dewatering apparatus may include a capillary porous media. A molding member, such as a papermaking belt comprising an air permeable fabric, may advance the wet fibrous web onto the capillary porous media, wherein the fibrous web is positioned between the capillary porous media and the air-permeable fabric. An energy transfer surface may be positioned in contact with the air-permeable fabric or the outer circumferential surface, wherein the energy transfer surface operates to vibrate the capillary porous media. In turn, the vibration helps to drive water through the capillary porous media, allowing additional water to flow from the fibrous web and through pores in the capillary porous media.

  • Patent number: 10752439
Abstract: A shield for a compartment opening of a refuse truck body, comprising an upper segment hinged to the truck body and a lower segment hinged to the upper segment. A source of power selectively pivots the lower segment relative to the upper segment. This enables a first angle of articulation whereby the upper segment covers an upper region of the compartment opening and the lower segment covers a lower region of the compartment opening whereby the shield covers the entire opening of the compartment; a second angle whereby the upper segment covers the upper region of the opening and the lower segment is positioned such that refuse can be swept beneath the lower segment into the lower region of the opening; and a third angle whereby the upper and lower segments fully uncover the compartment opening, whereby refuse can be freely dumped out of the compartment.

  • Publication number: 20200139182
Abstract: A barre apparatus having two vertically orientated structures. An upper bar attached by an upper bracket to the vertically orientated structures at approximately chest height and a first distance away from the vertically orientated structures. A middle bar attached by a middle bracket the vertically orientated structures at approximately waist height at a second distance away from the vertical structures. A lower bar attached by a lower bracket to the vertically orientated structures at approximately lower leg height and a third distance away from the vertical structures. The third distance is less than the first distance and second distance such that the vertically orientated structures provide an increased amount of support for the lower bar when a user stands on the lower bar and the third distance allows a user to position the user's feet or hands under the lower bar.

  • Patent number: 10635159
Abstract: Adaptive voltage modulation circuits for adjusting supply voltage to reduce supply voltage droops and minimize power consumption are provided. In one aspect, an adaptive voltage modulation circuit detects a supply voltage droop by detecting when a supply voltage falls below a droop threshold voltage, and adjusts a clock signal provided to a load circuit in response to a supply voltage droop. The adaptive voltage modulation circuit keeps a count of the number of clock signal cycles during which the supply voltage is below the droop threshold voltage. The adaptive voltage modulation circuit increases the supply voltage in response to the count exceeding an upper threshold value, and decreases the supply voltage in response to the count being less than a lower threshold value at an end of a defined period. The adaptive voltage modulation circuit can reduce the time a load circuit operates with reduced frequency while minimizing power consumption.

  • Patent number: 10532305
Abstract: An internal oil filter is installed at least partially inside a crankcase and/or an oil sump of a compressor. The internal oil filter can receive oil from an oil pressure regulator and filter the oil via filter media. The received oil radially penetrates through the filter media and flow directly into the oil sump from an outside surface of the filter media. This can eliminate the need of fluid lines connecting an outlet of an oil filter to the oil sump and any sealing mechanism therebetween.
