  • Publication number: 20220331633
Abstract: The method of maintaining a first flow rate through a first valve in a fluid delivery system, the fluid delivery system including a and a plurality of fluid valves in fluid communication with the pump, and a controller controlling the pressure generated by the pump and the position of the plurality of valves. The method includes providing the first flow rate of a fluid pressurized by the pump through the first valve, receiving a request for a second flow rate of the fluid through a second valve, determining a predicted effect on the first flow rate based on the request, adjusting at least one of the position of the first valve and the pressure generated by the pump to maintain the first flow rate based on the predicted effect, and adjusting the position of the second valve to provide the second flow rate of the fluid through the second valve.

  • Patent number: 10872515
Abstract: A system for monitoring the level or amount of salt within a water softener brine tank is provided. The system includes a detection apparatus that uses at least three sensors that each measure the capacitance measured through the wall of a salt brine tank. The presence of salt adjacent a sensor causes the capacitance to increase and the sensor to report a salt present condition. Each sensor reports to a controller that will combine the signals from the sensors to detect when the level of the container is below a predetermined level. When at least one or more sensors report the salt level is below the predetermined level, the controller generates a push notification or an audio and/or visible alarm to alert the user the water softener tank needs to be replenished.

  • Patent number: 9399151
Abstract: A control system for a fire fighting device is provided. The control system may include a controller configured to operably connect over a network to a first valve controller controlling a status of a first valve in response to an input from the controller, a second valve controlling a status of a second valve in response to an input from the controller, and a governor operably controlling a power source in response to an input from the controller. The control system may further comprise a touchscreen display operably connected to the controller, the display configured to display the status of the first and second valves and configured to receive an input from a user, wherein controller generates a manipulatable icon displayed on the touchscreen display, a manipulation of the icon generating the input from the controller to the first valve controller.

  • Patent number: 5527075
Abstract: A portable golf ball retriever utilizing a knock down handle and a yoke formed from horizontal and depending side support members, the side members supporting an axle extending therethrough. A plurality of discs are rotatably affixed to the axle and fingers extend between the discs and the adjacent side support members to dislodge balls collected between the discs as the retriever is exposed thereto. A ball collecting device is releasably secured to the handle and yoke of a size to accommodate the handle, yoke, axle and plurality of discs and function as a carrying bag therefor. Handles are affixed to the collecting device to make it convenient to carry the container from place to place.

  • Patent number: 4650247
Abstract: A biophysiometer having two seat sections which support the right and left sides respectively of a person's body, and are adapted for relative vertical movement and relative tilting movement to positions displacing the two sides of the body relative to one another in a manner tending to correct an abnormal posture condition or otherwise attain a desired treatment effect. The two seat sections are preferably supported by a balancing connection operatively interconnecting them in a relation in which downward movement of one of the sections causes upward movement of the other section, and vice-a-versa. Desirably, the apparatus includes automatic control means which respond to displacement of the two seat sections relative to one another by the weight or positioning of a person's body, and then automatically actuate the seat sections to changed relative positions tending to correct the posture or other abnormal condition sensed by the device.
