Abstract: Methods and systems for providing and managing training through/over networks to remote multimedia device users are disclosed. Training can be provided through networks to computers and portable hand held devices. Handheld devices can include PDAs, pagers, and wireless phones. Training can be received by a remote trainee through electronic data networks for completion at a wireless device. Methods and systems are also disclosed for managing remote training. Remote training can be tracked and recorded when completed by a remote user of a wireless hand held device. Completed training can be transmitted through an electronic network to course provider servers by a remote hand held device. Remote users authentication and certification of completed training received from a hand held device through an electronic network can be conducted by a training provider's server.

Methods and systems are also disclosed for recording CLE in progress and completed by a remote user. Completed CLE can be transmitted through an electronic network to CLE provider servers through a hand held device. Remote user registration, authentication and certification of completed CLE received from a hand held device through an electronic network can also be conducted by a CLE provider's server.

Abstract: A heat transfer tube having an internal surface that enhances the heat transfer performance of and also improves the workability of the tube and a method of manufacturing such a tube. The internal surface has a plurality of ribs that extend at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the tube. A pattern of parallel notches, extending at an angle to the ribs, extend through the ribs and into the main inner surface of the tube wall. The tube can be made by rolling embossing the pattern of ribs and notches on to one side of a flat metal strip, then roll forming the strip into a tubular shape with the embossed pattern on the interior of the tubular shape and the edges of the strip forming a longitudinal seam, then joining, preferably by welding, the edges along the longitudinal seam to form a tube. In a preferred embodiment, the notches in the inner surface extend into the weld zone of the tube.
