  • Publication number: 20240299870
Abstract: The instant disclosure is directed to seamless filtration media and methods for their use. A medium may comprise at least one seamless filtration component, which may comprise a plurality of bonded polymeric fibers and have a porosity from about 60% to about 95%. The medium may comprise multiple, concentrically arranged seamless filtration components, each having a hollow cylindrical configuration. A method of filtering a fluid stream may comprise placing such a medium in the fluid stream, thereby removing particles from the fluid stream. The at least one seamless filtration component of the medium may comprise a plurality of bonded polymeric fibers and have a porosity from about 60% to about 95%. The fluid stream may have a temperature of up to about 150° C. and the particles may have an average diameter from about 0.1 ?m to about 5 ?m. The fluid stream may be located within a CCV system.

  • Publication number: 20240118068
Abstract: Provided herein are various embodiments of an improved device for accurate measurement along a desired axis that is tolerant to off axis movement and other environmental factors. The measurement relies on a conversion from linear displacement of a tensile element in a pulley system which is monitored by a low power rotational encoder. The orientation and mechanical architecture of the device is set to reduce the impact of off-axis movement or forces on the measurement of interest. A computing unit determines the distance measurement by determining the state of rotation in the system in the context of the system's specific design, without the need to constantly monitor the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20230188598
Abstract: Techniques are described that enable users to configure the mirroring of network traffic sent to or received by computing resources associated with a virtual network of computing resources at a service provider network. The mirrored network traffic can be used for many different purposes including, for example, network traffic content inspection, forensic and threat analysis, network troubleshooting, data loss prevention, and the like. Users can configure such network traffic mirroring without the need to manually install and manage network capture agents or other such processes on each computing resource for which network traffic mirroring is desired. Users can cause mirrored network traffic to be stored at a storage service in the form of packet capture (or “pcap”) files, which can be used by any number of available out-of-band security and monitoring appliances including other user-specific monitoring tools and/or other services of the service provider network.

  • Publication number: 20230073987
Abstract: According to one aspect, this disclosure describes a novel indirect weight sensing device, systems, and related processes. In at least one embodiment, the present systems include one or more springs with known properties, at least one metal plate on which the springs are fastened and through which the container load is transferred from the container to the ground, a spring deformation sensor by which spring deformation is reckoned, a digital level by which general orientation of the upper plate is determined relative to the ground, a computing unit to collect and process data from the spring deformation sensor and digital level, and an antenna or other such hardware to wirelessly connect to another device and interface with the computing unit.

  • Publication number: 20220014359
Abstract: Authentication of a user of an OAuth client by an OAuth authorization server, comprising exposing an authentication state machine, where the states of the state machine are hypermedia-based representations of login resources, and transitions between states are represented by hypermedia links, wherein the authentication state machine is exposed to the client by an API adhering to the principles of REpresentational State Transfer (REST). When the final state of the state machine has been reached, a secondary access token is issued to the client, thereby authenticating the user, wherein hypermedia representations which are sent to the client are encoded so as to be readily parsable by the client.

  • Publication number: 20210409336
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to add flow validation information to packets of network traffic. Each packet can have flow validation information added corresponding to the source and destination of the packet. A stateful network routing service may intercept packets and obtain or generate flow validation information based on the source and destination of the packet. The stateful network routing service may add the information to the packet and transmit the enriched packet to a network appliance. The stateful network routing service may receive a second enriched packet from the network appliance. The stateful network routing service can compare the enriched packet with the second enriched packet. Based on the comparison of the enriched packets, the stateful network routing service can determine whether the packet should be transmitted to the destination or dropped.
