  • Patent number: 11906196
Abstract: A mounting assembly for a fan of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a frame configured to couple to the HVAC system. The frame includes a support rail having a flange. The mounting assembly includes a first guide rail coupled to the frame and having a first lip extending at an oblique angle relative to the flange. The mounting assembly also includes a second guide rail coupled to the frame and having a second lip extending at the oblique angle relative to the flange. The first and second lips are configured to support and guide translation of a chassis of the fan toward the support rail such that the chassis of the fan engages with the flange. The flange is configured to support the fan offset from the first and second lips in an installed configuration of the fan with the mounting assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220391797
Abstract: Example implementations are described for a secure distributed system/platform for facilitating division of a collaborative efforts between a plurality of entities into various future obligations and potential rewards and for processing such obligations and rewards into a binding forward purchase agreement. The obligation and rewards of such Forward Purchase Agreement may be sectioned, codified, and implemented as a smart contract in, for example, a distributed ledger system. In some specific applications, a secure distributed collaboration system is disclosed for investors to promote development of a new technology solution for the future using forward purchasing agreement without having to know exactly which innovators will succeed in creating and demonstrating practicability in that technology space.

  • Patent number: 7510225
Abstract: For conserving bedding material such as wood shavings when cleaning livestock environments such as horse stalls, a lightweight manure fork, specially configured with an open flat working region with relatively short tines, is combined with a highly efficient fan-type blower unit attached to the handle. Delivering air-flow onto the tined working region in short blasts under finger control, the worker simply manipulates the fork in the normal manner to remove the manure; the loose bedding material is blown off the fork and back onto surrounding regions of the stall, thus saving a substantial portion of the usual replenishment costs. The invention thus accomplishes substantial overall cost savings and environmental conservation without requiring special supervision, unusual diligence, effort or skill on the part of the worker.

  • Patent number: 7334377
Abstract: An air handling unit (AHU) for housing a number of components used in a heating or cooling system to provide forced air for climate control in a particular structure includes a single raceway construction having both low thermal conductivity and enhanced mechanical properties for use with lifting the AHU; a single insulated panel construction having a minimum number of components as well as enhanced mechanical properties for use as the floor in an AHU compartment; to minimize costs associated with fabrication and installation.

  • Patent number: 6557328
Abstract: A fender shaper system for equestrian use, that can be easily added to a new or used saddle system, shapes the fenders optimally and holds the desired shape permanently, thus eliminating the conventional need to soak the fenders in water and reshape them repeatedly due to their inherent tendency to revert back toward the original flat shape unless kept stored in a special holder. The fender shaper system permanently ensures the correct free-hanging stirrup orientation that makes mounting easier and safer by avoiding any need to reach down and turn the stirrup manually, and also ensures riding comfort free of leg stress and fatigue from having to continuously counteract a tendency of the stirrups to hang at an incorrect orientation. The fender shaper is formed from sheet stainless steel bent into the shape of a right angle bracket with curvature. In a primary embodiment for leather fenders, the fender can be fastened to the fender shaper with a pair of ornamental screw fasteners and a retaining tab.

  • Publication number: 20030078037
Abstract: Subscriber units and base stations of telecommunication systems are equipped with RF to IF (EXA) circuit boards which provide complete flexibility for radio communication. The boards may communicate on any air interface standard (CDMA, TDMA, Bluetooth, 3G cellular, etc.) at any frequency or band of frequencies. Separate, independent forward and reverse channels may be assignment, each having its own air interface and frequency band. When a call is initiated, a set of optimum forward and reverse channels are assigned, taking into account relevant factors such as traffic, subscriber requirements for high speed data, etc., so that the channel assignment is tailored to the current communication needs. Channel assignment is updated as needs change, as other channels become available and at handoff. In a business model, air time on multiple telecommunication systems is sold to subscribers who can use this technology to roam widely.

  • Patent number: 6494514
Abstract: For conserving bedding material such as wood shavings when cleaning livestock environments such as horse stalls, a manure fork is combined with an air blower directed into the working region of the fork. The air flow is directed to blow the loose bedding material past the fork tines and onto surrounding regions of the stall automatically, while the worker simply works with the fork in the normal manner to remove the manure. The bedding material remains in the stall, thus saving a substantial portion of the usual replenishment costs. The invention thus accomplishes substantial overall cost savings and environmental conservation without requiring special supervision or unusual diligence on the part of the worker.
