  • Patent number: 11708015
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention illustrate a canopy apparatus for a child car seat providing a cover on an infant car seat and/or a sunshade over a child car seat comprising a cover body, two headrest covers connected at opposing ends of the cover body, an attachment mechanism and a tie. The attachment mechanism may be wrapped around a handle of an infant car seat while the cover body drapes down over the car seat providing a cover. The headrest covers may be placed on a first headrest and a second headrest at opposing sides in a vehicle, respectively, enabling the cover body to hang above the child car seat while the left and right side of the cover body drapes over the child car seat creating a shade. The tie may be tied to a grab handle to provide further security and headroom.

  • Patent number: 9732896
Abstract: An apparatus comprises an input chamber being configured for accepting a flow of material. An output chamber is configured for flowing the material along a first pathway and a second pathway. A diverter member is disposed within the input chamber. The diverter member comprises a half wing shape pivotally joined at a juncture of the input chamber and the output chamber. The diverter member is operable to be positioned at a first position for diverting the flow to the first pathway and to be positioned at a second position for diverting the flow to the second pathway. A lever mechanism is configured to be operable for moving the diverter member between the first position and the second position in which the flow is uninterrupted.

  • Patent number: 8025146
Abstract: Improvements in a compliant upright drink insulator attachment device that is works with a standard drink insulator. The attachment device uses two parts where one part mates with the second part to slip through a standard insulated drink holder. These insulated drink holders are commonly called coolies or koozies and are manufactured with a central hole to allow for draining. A clip connects a compliant cord to one or both of the two parts. The compliant cord is configured as a coiled cord. A weight is connected to the free end of the compliant cord to keep the insulated drink holder in an upright orientation in the water. The compliant cord allows the weight to move semi independent from the insulated drink holder, and further allows the weight to be stored within the insulated drink holder for storage when it is not being used.

  • Publication number: 20040163582
Abstract: An individual's location is marked to facilitate rescue even under windy weather conditions by using a device including a deflated kite-type balloon attached to a secured line. When rescue is desired, the deflated kite-type balloon is inflated with lighter than air gas and released while secured by the line.

  • Patent number: 5582127
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and device 10 for marking an individual's location to facilitate rescue. The method comprises the step of removing a cover member or cap 24 of the device 10 which contains an inflatable balloon 40 to open a valve 28 of a cylinder 18 containing a pressurized, lighter than air gas which inflates a balloon 40, so that the balloon rises in the atmosphere. The balloon 40 is tied to one end of a line 48 that has another end attached to the device 10. Thus, the balloon 40 travels upward a distance essentially equal to the length of the line 48, hovering overhead to identify the individual's location.
