Abstract: A drinking vessel configured to enclose an amount of dry ice produces smoke while chilling a beverage. The drinking vessel may comprise a watertight container for holding the beverage and a filter to enclose the dry ice within a section of the watertight container. The filter will typically be permeable such that the beverage may contact the dry ice within the section of the watertight container but also flow out of the section so that the beverage may be consumed. The filter may be attached to an interior of the watertight container to enclose the dry ice. The interior wall(s) of the watertight container may have one or more mounts to engage and secure the filter to to the watertight container. The filter prevents dry ice particles from escaping thus allowing a user to drink directly from the drinking vessel even as smoke is generated by the dry ice.
