  • Patent number: 11977785
Abstract: The disclosed technologies provide functionality for non-volatile memory device-assisted live migration of virtual machine (“VM”) data. A host computing device (the “host”) requests that a source non-volatile memory device track changes to a namespace by a VM. In response thereto, the source device tracks changes made by the VM to the namespace and stores one or more data structures that identify the changed portions of the namespace. The host requests the data structures from the source device and requests the contents of the changed portions from the source device. The host then causes the data changed by the VM in the namespace to be written to a namespace on a target non-volatile memory device. The host can also retrieve the device internal state of a child physical function on the source device. The host migrates the retrieved device internal state to a child physical function on the target device.

  • Publication number: 20240145868
Abstract: Provided a separator, a preparation method thereof, and a secondary battery, a battery module, a battery pack, and an electric apparatus containing such separator. The separator includes: a substrate and a coating applied on at least one surface of the substrate, where the coating includes 40 wt % to 90 wt % first organic particles, 2 wt % to 15 wt % pressure-sensitive binder, and optionally 0 wt % to 50 wt % second organic particles. The first organic particles include an organic polymer and an inorganic substance. The pressure-sensitive binder includes an organic polymer and a plasticizer. The separator has good ionic conductivity and adhesion performance at room temperature, is not adhered under a pressure of 1 MPa or below and is significantly adhered under a pressure of 2 MPa or above, which can significantly improve structural stability and ionic conductivity of an electrochemical device while satisfying requirements for yield rate of production and kinetic performance of a battery cell.

  • Publication number: 20240091300
Abstract: Provided are methods and compositions from reprogramming human glial cells into human neurons. The reprogramming is achieved using combinations of compounds that can modify signaling via Transforming growth factor beta (TGF-?), Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP), glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK-3), and ?-secretase/Notch pathways. The reprogramming is demonstrated using groups of three or four compounds that are chosen from the group thiazovivin, LDN193189, SB431542, TTNPB, CHIR99021, DAPT, VPA, SAG, purmorphamine. Reprogramming is demonstrated using the group of LDN193189/CHIR99021/DAPT, the group of B431542/CHIR99021/DAPT, the group of LDN193189/DAPT/SB431542, the group of LDN193189/CHIR99021/SB431542, a three drug combination of SB431542/CHIR99021/DAPT. Reprogramming using functional analogs of the compounds is also provided, as are pharmaceutical formulations that contain the drug combinations.

  • Publication number: 20040121654
Abstract: A battery connector includes an insulating housing and a plurality of electrical terminals. The insulating housing has a bottom wall, a front wall, a rear wall a plurality of vertical walls arranged alternatively on the bottom wall, and a plurality of terminal receiving slots relatively formed between each of pairs the vertical walls. The electrical terminals are respectively received in the terminal receiving slots, and the electrical terminals each has a body, a conducting portion, a resilient arm, and a contacting portion. The conducting portion extends from a first side of the body, the resilient arm extends upwardly from a second side of the body, and the contacting portion connects one end of the resilient arm, which has another end connects to the body.
