Abstract: The present invention provides an ultrasound neuromodulation actuator including a stable hollow silica nanoparticle (HSN) structure, in particular, a PEGylated HSN (pHSN) particle, and a method for preparing the same. The present invention also provides methods for enhancing ultrasound stimulation and treating neurological disorders of a subject including applying the pHSN particles to a brain region of the subject followed by ultrasound stimulation.

Abstract: Systems and methods described herein relate to the real-time verification of data purges. A first subprocess of a data purging process is executed to purge a plurality of data items. A system accesses purge result data providing an indication of a result of the first subprocess. The system determines, based on the purge result data, that the first subprocess was not executed in accordance with a purge policy associated with the data purging process. In response to determining that the first subprocess was not executed in accordance with the purge policy, the system adjusts a state of the data purging process. A second subprocess of the data purging process is then executed according to the adjusted state.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a TACS system supporting a fallback train control mode and a manual fault handling mode. The system supports mixed running operation of a main mode train and a degraded mode train. The main mode is a TACS mode, and the degraded mode includes a fallback mode and a device cut-off mode. The TACS system includes a central train supervision device, a station train dispatching device, a wayside resource management unit RMU, a wayside target controller OC, a data communication system DCS, and an on-board controller CC. Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the advantages of improving the functionality and practicality of the system.

The temperature controller may be configured to operate in a carbon saving mode, and when operating in the carbon saving mode, the set temperature of the temperature controller is adjusted according to a green electricity index, and the green electricity index is the proportion of green electricity in a power grid to which the temperature controller is connected. When the proportion of the green electricity is high, i.e., the electric energy used is mainly from renewable energy sources, the set temperature is adjusted to produce more cold energy or heat energy for storage; and when the green electricity index decreases, the stored cold energy or heat energy can be used to meet the demand for cooling or heating, thereby reducing carbon emissions.
