  • Patent number: 7237415
Abstract: An improved method for producing slide seat and manufacture device, in which, one metal bar passes through the tamping drum groups arranged in tandem, apply the progressive model of slide seat mounted on the middle section of tamping drum to tamp gradually, meanwhile, the tamped metal bar is extruded so that the material is extruded towards the back section of the not extruded molding and is extended naturally, then apply one protruding edge that is similar to the inner mold of this embryonic form at the back section of molded embryonic form of slide seat, the protruding edge of this inner mold can extrude the inward concave track at inward side of slide seat when slide seat passes through this extending mold, as this slide seat is molded, this inward concave track is molded as well, the sliding faces of inner mold of this extending mold may smooth all edges of slide seat correspondingly so as to make smooth face without processing with milling cutter and roll-wheel-type-cutting knife, therefore, this improve

  • Patent number: 6446338
Abstract: An improved method of sluice gate valve fabrication in which a cylindrical rod of an appropriate diameter is first cut and then the cylindrical rod is forged into a blank for a disk-shaped sluice gate body and pivot stems, with the pivot stems respectively formed at the upper and lower ends of the sluice gate body to provide for installing the pivot stems in the interior section of the sluice valve. The raw edges along the periphery of the blank are then removed by pressure punching to form a finished sluice gate body. The pivot stem at the lower end of the sluice valve body is machined into an abraded welding surface and then a shaft having the same diameter of the pivot stem is aligned with abraded welding surface and friction welded to it. As such, the pre-forged sluice gate and the friction welding of an existent shaft onto the pivot stem at the lower end of the sluice gate body minimizes forging mold volume and, furthermore, reduces the quantity of material required for sluice gate fabrication.

  • Patent number: 6264168
Abstract: A forged flange-type valve fabrication method that has all the left and right pipeline connections thread fastened to the two sides of the valve body. Utilizing such a forging method, one-piece or two-piece valves have a left and a right primary elements and structurally identical left and the right pipeline connection sections of a two-piece flange-type valve, the ball valve housing section of a one-piece flange-type valve, the plug, the ball valve housing section, and the ball valve position limiter section. External threads and water-tight gasket sleeves are formed on front outer side and ends of the left pipeline connection section of a one-piece flange-type valve and the left and the right pipeline connection sections of a two-piece flange-type valve. Internal threads are tapped in the left connection hole in the structurally identical ball valve housing sections of a one-piece or a two-piece flange-type valve and the right connection hole of the ball valve limiter section.

  • Patent number: 6185821
Abstract: A method for forging a one-piece or two piece flange-type ball valve, including forging the left and right primary elements, the process including the direct forging of the water inlet seat and the ball valve seat for a one-piece flange-type ball valve, the forging of the water inlet seat, the ball valve seat, the position limiter seat and the water outlet seat. The fabrication of all the center through-holes and ball valve chamber are carried out in a single process without requiring the machining of the interior sections. Friction welding methods are used to weld the water inlet seat to the ball valve seat and the position limiter seat to the water outlet seat as if they were fabricated entirely by forging. The friction welding beads built-up along the mated welding surfaces inside the center through-hole and exterior are then removed to achieve a smooth finish and enable the valve to have a seamless appearance as though constructed of a single unit of material.

  • Patent number: 6178638
Abstract: A fabrication method for an improved structure practical forged one-piece flange-type ball valve that consists of the forging the initial two blanks of the water inlet seat and the ball valve seat for a one-piece flange-type ball valve, based on the blueprints of conventional one-piece flange-type ball valves, with the water inlet seat having a left pipeline connection section already formed inside and the ball valve seat having a ball valve chamber, its contiguous water outlet port, and a right pipeline connection section already formed inside. To facilitate easier finishing, a shallower mating section is formed at the front end of the water inlet seat for contact with the ball valve chamber of the ball valve seat. A left water-tight gasket containment recess is then lathed in the mating section end surface of the water inlet seat and external threads are died along the outer sides of the mating section.

  • Patent number: 5979873
Abstract: A method of making ball valves, including the steps of forging two symmetrical ball valve halves into shape such that they each have a spherically curved outer wall and a cylindrical inner wall joined at one end to the outer wall and otherwise separated by a channel; bringing the ball valve halves together to form a spherical ball valve; friction welding the ball valve halves as a whole so that reinforcing ribs are formed on the welding surfaces due to fusion and a straight flow path is defined in the ball valve; using a punch with a ram having a diameter corresponding to that of the straight flow path of the ball valve to remove the reinforcing rib on the inner wall of the straight flow path so that the wall surface of the straight flow path is smooth; and processing the surface of the ball valve.
