    Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure provide a solution for text line detection. In this solution, a first text region comprising a first portion of at least a first text element and a second text region comprising a second portion of at least a second text element are determined from an image. A first feature representation is extracted from the first text region and a second feature representation is extracted from the second text region. The first and second feature representations comprise at least one of an image eature representation or a semantic feature representation of the image. A link relationship between the first and second text regions can then be determined based at least in part on the first and second feature representations. The link relationship can indicate whether the first and second portions of the first and second text elements are located in a same text line.

The method may quickly and accurately identify a base, and achieve the determination of an order of nucleotides/bases of at least part of a sequence of a template.

    Abstract: A control method and system of a fuel cell electric vehicle stack. The control method comprises obtaining insulation resistance of the stack, comprising at least two sub-stacks connected in parallel; and disconnecting a sub-stack with insulation failure from a DC bus and then causing the stack to enter a failure mode when it is determined that the insulation resistance of the stack is smaller than a first preset threshold. The stack is determined to have an insulation failure when it is determined that the insulation resistance of the stack is smaller than the first preset threshold. The sub-stack with the insulation failure is located and disconnected the sub-stack with insulation failure from a DC bus, and the stack is then caused to run in a failure mode to perform failure protection, avoid deterioration of the insulation failure and burnout of the stack and improve the safety performance of the stack.

    Abstract: An ear detection method with deep learning pairwise model based on contextual information belongs to the field of biometric recognition technologies, and addresses a problem that an ear location cannot be found in a large scene, especially in a background image containing a whole body. The method includes: performing preprocessing and object labeling on images; modifying an Oquab network to be a local model for four classes through transfer learning and training the local model; training two pairwise models of head and ear as well as body and head based on the local model; and performing joint detection for an ear through the local model, the two pairwise models and body features. The method uses a hierarchical relationship from large to small to establish contextual information, which can reduce the interference of other features and detect the location of the ear more accurately.

    Abstract: Described herein is a genetic modifier of cystic fibrosis (CF), which may serve as a predictor of the efficacy of a CFTR-directed therapy. SNPs rs7512462 or rs2869027 in non-coding regions of SLC26A9 are shown to correlate with CF lung disease severity in patients having CFTR mutations that leave protein at the cell surface, e.g. gating mutations such as G551D. It is also shown that patient response to Ivacaftor correlates with SLC26A9 genotype. Given the biology of SLC26A9, risk alleles of SLC26A9 should correlate with reduced SLC26A9. SLC26A9 activity (marked by e.g. genotype or expression level) is therefore a predictor of treatment efficacy for any CFTR-directed therapeutic, such as Ivacaftor or Lumacaftor. Associated methods of selecting and treating patients are described, along with related kits, uses, and drug discovery platforms.
