    Abstract: A method using directed self-assembly of block copolymers (BCPs) for making an imprint template has the required patterns for both the features in the template's active area and the optically-detectable alignment marks in the template's non-active area. A chemical contrast pattern defined by a lithographic technique forms patterns of lines in both the active area and non-active area, as well as patterns of featureless gap regions in the non-active area. The pattern of lines has the BCP components aligned as lamellae perpendicular to the substrate, while the pattern of featureless gap regions has the BCP components aligned as lamellae parallel to the substrate. The patterns of lines and featureless gap regions in the non-active area define the optically detectable alignment marks. One of the BCP components is removed, leaving the other BCP component as an etch mask to fabricate the imprint template.

    Abstract: A method, a network device, and a system for determining resource mapping in CoMP transmission are disclosed. The method includes: the cooperative cells that perform CoMP transmission for a UE negotiate a mapping rule used by the cooperative cells when the status of the CoMP transmission of the UE changes, where the mapping rule includes the number of and position of OFDM symbols allocated to a PDCCH domain and/or a data channel domain; and the negotiated mapping rule is notified to the UE. In this embodiment, before the downlink signals are transmitted, the mapping rule used by each cooperative cell for CoMP transmission is negotiated between the cooperative cells, and therefore, the UE can accurately receive the signal sent by multiple cooperative cells and the performance of CoMP transmission in the system is improved.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements that enable easy integration of on/off repeaters in a radio access network and a minimized signaling for the UE repeater selection. This is achieved by a solution where the RBSs are working in a pre-coding mode and where the repeaters are measuring the downlink reference signals, selecting pre-coding matrices and feeding the index of selection back (i.e. the PMI) to the RBS, in analogy with what a UE does. This allows the RBS to distinguish the UE repeater selection, without introducing any extra uplink report or interaction between UEs and repeaters, by comparing the index from the UE with the indices from different repeaters.

The machine translation system and method performs syntactic analysis based on a common contiguous phrase based machine translation model, and extracts a syntactic based noncontiguous phrase rule set from a bilingual aligned text, so as to address and issue of noncontiguous fixed custom in context of a whole sentence, and to comply with syntactic features of a language, translation is performed based on the noncontiguous phrase rule set and the phrase aligned table, and the translation results are evaluated based on the evaluation model, thereby improving the translation result.

    Abstract: A method for making an imprint mold uses sidewall spacer line doubling, but without the need to transfer the sidewall spacer patterns into the mold substrate. A base layer is deposited on the mold substrate, followed by deposition and patterning of a mandrel layer into stripes with tops and sidewalls. A layer of spacer material is deposited on the tops and sidewalls of the mandrel stripes and on the base layer between the mandrel stripes. The spacer material on the tops of the mandrel stripes and on the base layer between the mandrel stripes is then removed. The mandrel stripes are then etched away, leaving stripes of sidewall spacer material on the base layer. The resulting mold is a substrate with pillars of sidewall spacer material patterned as stripes and extending from the substrate, with the sidewall spacers serving as the mold features for imprinting.

The method for identifying different frame structures includes: receiving a radio frame on a frequency division duplex (FDD) downlink carrier, where the radio frame includes an identifier of a frame structure; and identifying the frame structure according to the identifier of the frame structure included in the radio frame. Embodiments of the present invention also disclose a user equipment (UE), an evolved NodeB (eNB), and a system for identifying different frame structures. Through the technical solutions provided by embodiments of the present invention, LTE-A users can identify the frame structure carried on the FDD downlink carrier when accessing the network initially, but LTE users are unaware of the change of the frame structure.

According to embodiments of the present invention, the waste of emitted energy may be avoided, the emitted energy of part of REs is increased, and further, the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) and throughput of service data may be increased.

    Abstract: A method for making a film of core-shell nanoparticles generally uniformly arranged on a substrate uses atomic layer deposition (ALD) to form the shells. The nanoparticle cores are placed in a solution containing a polymer having an end group for attachment to the cores. The solution is then applied to a substrate and allowed to dry, resulting in the nanoparticle cores being uniformly arranged by the attached polymer chains. ALD is then used to grow the shell material on the cores, using two precursors for the shell material that are non-reactive with the polymer. The polymer chains also form between the cores and the substrate surface, so the ALD forms shell material completely surrounding the cores. The uniformly arranged core-shell nanoparticles can be used as an etch mask to etch the substrate.
