  • Publication number: 20240075525
Abstract: A method may include coating a substrate with a solution, where the solution includes one or more metal salts and a first solvent. The one or more metal salts may be configured to dissolve in the first solvent. The method may further include adding a second solvent to the coated substrate until one or more metal salt crystals precipitate over a surface of substrate. The second solvent may include an antisolvent where the one or more metal salts of the solution are insoluble in the second solvent. The method may further include performing a microwave heating process to apply microwave heat to the substrate while the second solvent is present to induce thermal decomposition of the one or more metal salts until one or more metal nanostructures are formed on the surface of the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20220368946
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for encoder technology that selects, in response to a request from a client device, a first video stream from a first plurality of video streams dedicated to a first tile in video content and selects, in response to the request, a second video stream from a second plurality of video streams dedicated to a second tile in the video content. The encoder technology may also send the selected first and second video streams to a client device. Additionally, decoder technology may allocate a first decoder device to the first video stream and allocate a second decoder device to the second video stream. In one example, the first video stream and the second video stream include one or more different codec parameter values.

  • Publication number: 20220218053
Abstract: Methods of forming an antiviral facial mask that is capable of not only filtering pathogen particles, but also deactivating pathogen particles prior to exposure by the wearer. Typical facial masks do not deactivate pathogen particles, but rather merely capture viral particles on an outer surface of the mask. As such, the masks present a risk of interaction between the mask wearer and the particles, such as during the removal and/or application of the masks. Methods of forming enhanced antiviral facial masks include the formation of fibers via electrospinning, such that the fibers include a solution of two oppositely charged polyelectrolytes, surfactants, and metal ions. In use, water from human breath activates the surfactants to capture and deactivate pathogen particles. Moreover, the strength of the fibers from the oppositely charged polyelectrolytes results in increased lifespans of the masks, as the masks do not breakdown in the presence of high humidity.

  • Publication number: 20190159605
Abstract: An inflatable playpen for kids includes an inflatable body, which includes a top ring, a bottom ring, and a plurality of side posts. The side posts are arranged vertically between the top ring and the bottom ring. The top ring, the bottom ring, and the side posts are inflatable flexible tubes that are connected to and in communication with each other. The top ring, the bottom ring, and the side posts each have an outer surface covered or enclosed with an outer covering fabric layer. After inflation, a sufficient strength and elasticity can be provided to achieve excellent protection for children. When not in use, the playpen can be deflated to change the inflatable body back into a flattened condition that occupies a small space so that stowing and transportation are made easy.

  • Publication number: 20180030277
Abstract: The present invention includes a simple, scalable and solventless method of dispersing graphene into polymers, thereby providing a method of large-scale production of graphene-polymer composites. The composite powder can then be processed using the existing techniques such as extrusion, injection molding, and hot-pressing to produce a composites of useful shapes and sizes while keeping the advantages imparted by graphene. Composites produced require less graphene filler and are more efficient than currently used methods and is not sensitive to the host used, such composites can have broad applications depending on the host's properties.

  • Patent number: 9672053
Abstract: An example method to perform service request processing may comprise receiving, from a client device, a request associated with a first version of a service, the service being accessible via the server. The method may further comprise, in response to determination that version conversion from the first version to a second version of the service is required, converting the request to be compatible with the second version of the service and processing the converted request to generate a response associated with the second version. In this case, the method may further comprise converting the response to be compatible with the first version of the service; and sending, to the client device, the converted response that is compatible with the first version.
