The process may include providing a first flexible polymer film and a second flexible polymer film, sealing the first film and the second film together to form an enclosure and at least one tab area, and trapping fluid within a discrete portion of the tab area to form a breachable bubble. The enclosure may define an interior volume configured to receive a consumer product. Fluid trapped within a discrete portion of the tab area to form a breachable bubble may be sufficient to cause the bubble to breach upon application of minimal pressure by a user, separating a sealed portion of the first film from the second film.

Abstract: A sealed package is disclosed that includes a breachable bubble for opening the package in combination with at least one reclosable device. The reclosable device may comprise a pair of opposing interlocking members. The breachable bubble allows for the package to be easily opened while the reclosable device allows for the package to be closed once opened. The breachable bubble and the reclosable device can be preformed on opposing strips that are then incorporated into the package as the package is being formed.

Abstract: A transfer unit for transferring objects from a starting position to a final position, preferably between two presses in a plate pressing line, comprises two carriages (4, 5) which are displaceable along supporting rails (2, 3) and are provided with rotatable gripping devices (9-12) to grip and hold the object during the transfer which can be effected with or without turning over at the same time. The turn-over device makes it possible to turn the object during transfer and comprises a turning arm (24), one end of which is mounted in the carriage (4, 5), and the other end of which supports a follower (25) for cooperation with a guide rail (26, 27) with an essentially V-shaped portion (32-34), along which the turning arm (24) is guided as it is pivoted.

Abstract: A plastic sheet packing or packing member of the flat folding bag type, primarily for pipe tobacco, the mouth opening of which is sealed in a welded manner enabling it to be opened without rupturing the sheet materials adjacent the mouth opening. The mouth is closed by a type of welding providing a good sealing effect though being releasable by mechanical pull to facilitate opening of the packing. The opposed surface portions of the mouth area may be welded direct to each other in this manner, or a separate, removable closing strip may be arranged along and across the mouth and secured by the releasable type of welding. This type of welding may require mutually different materials to be joined, and this is obtained either by the use of said separate strip or by using a sandwich sheet for the packing itself.
