  • Publication number: 20220373279
Abstract: Multi-modal gas blocks utilized in conjunction with gas piston-operated firearms are disclosed, as are firearms equipped with such gas blocks. In embodiments, the multi-modal gas block includes a gas block body, a valve element cavity, a gas inlet port through which the valve element cavity is fluidly coupled to a barrel bleed port of a firearm, a gas exhaust port fluidly coupled to the valve element cavity, and a gas return port fluidly coupling the valve element cavity to a gas piston cylinder contained in the firearm. A valve element housed within the valve element cavity is movable between: (i) a first position in which the valve element blocks gas flow from the gas inlet port to the gas exhaust port; and (ii) a second position in which the valve element divides gas flow received at the gas inlet port between the gas return and gas exhaust ports.

  • Patent number: 11506461
Abstract: Embodiments of a magazine coupler include a coupler body, a first magazine attachment interface coupled to the coupler body and configured to removably mount a lower end portion of the first firearm magazine to the coupler body, a second magazine attachment interface coupled to the coupler body and configured to removably mount a lower end portion of the second firearm magazine to the coupler body, and a finger aperture extending formed through the coupler body. The finger aperture is sized and shaped to enable a user or firearm operator to spin the magazine coupler about a finger of the user when inserted through the finger aperture to vary which of the first firearm magazine and the second firearm magazine resides in an upright orientation for insertion into a well of a firearm when the magazine coupler resides in a deployed state.

  • Patent number: 11168954
Abstract: A firearm magazine extender is installable onto a firearm magazine having a lower end portion from which magazine flanges project. Embodiments of the firearm magazine extender include a first enclosure piece, a second enclosure piece, and a laterally-interlocking interface formed between the first and second enclosure pieces. The first enclosure piece includes, in turn, laterally-flexible sidewalls spaced along a lateral axis of the firearm magazine extender, and retention slots formed in the laterally-flexible sidewalls and into which the magazine flanges engage when the first enclosure piece is fit onto the firearm magazine. The second enclosure piece is configured to matingly engage the first enclosure piece and cooperate therewith to enclose the lower end portion of the firearm magazine.

  • Patent number: 10660312
Abstract: Embodiments of an anti-pull collar attachment are provided. In one embodiment, the anti-pull collar attachment includes a collar attachment interface having a collar guideway through which a segment of an animal collar is routed to removably mount the collar attachment to the animal collar. A first prodding feature is coupled to the collar attachment interface and, when the anti-pull collar attachment is removably mounted to the animal collar, is positioned beneath the segment of the animal collar. The prodding feature engages into an animal wearing the animal collar when a pull force is exerted on the collar. In certain implementations, the anti-pull collar attachment further includes a frame coupled to the collar attachment interface, as well as a movable platform slidable with respect to the frame along a prodding axis. The first prodding feature projects from the movable platform and moves in conjunction therewith along the prodding axis.
