Abstract: A wine label covering device includes a piece of material having a width corresponding to the width of a label on a bottle and having a length longer than a circumference of the bottle. The piece of material includes a first major surface, and a second major surface. The wine label covering device also includes an adhesive on one end portion of the piece of material on both the first major surface and the second major surface. A wine tasting kit includes a plurality of wine label covering devices or sleeves, response materials, and an instruction set including instructions for covering the wine bottles and for using the response materials.
