  • Publication number: 20230312918
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polycarbonate composition including the following components: A) 80-97.5 parts by weight of aromatic polycarbonate; B) 0.1-0.3 part by weight of metal organic sulfonate; C) 0.3-0.7 parts by weight of anti-dripping agent; D) 0.1-4 parts by weight of hydrolysis stabilizer; and E) 2-7 parts by weight of polysilsesquioxane. The total amount of the composition is 100 parts by weight. The present invention also relates to a shaped article made from the composition. The polycarbonate composition according to the present invention has a good combination of hydrolysis resistance and flame retardance.

  • Patent number: 11591466
Abstract: The present application relates to a polymer composition comprising from 20 wt % to 30 wt % of a polycarbonate; from 40 wt % to 60 wt % of a polybutylene terephthalate; from 5 wt % to 30 wt % of a reinforcement fiber; from 1 wt % to 10 wt % of glass bubbles, and from 0.3 wt % to 2 wt % of transesterification inhibitor, all contents are based on the total weight of the composition. The polymer composition according to the present invention has improved adhesion to the metal (especially aluminum), even after annealing and anodizing processes are applied.

  • Publication number: 20160280910
Abstract: Provided are glass-fiber reinforced polycarbonate compositions with high stiffness and with improved thermal and rheological behavior in combination with improved flame-retardancy properties. Said compositions can be used to produce mouldings, especially those thin-walled housing parts or switch boxes with a wall thickness from 1.0 mm to 0.75 mm in the EE and IT sectors, while still meet the requirements for the fire-protection classification UL 94 VI, preferably V0.
