Abstract: Positionable weed burning apparatus is described which is adapted to support an elongated burner boom and which is further adapted to be connected to a conventional three-point hitch on a tractor. The apparatus enables the boom to be raised, lowered, and moved from side to side by the operator of the tractor. Only one person is required in order to operate the apparatus. Because the burner boom may be quickly and accurately positioned to any desired location by the operator of the tractor, irrigation ditches may be rapidly and efficiently burned using the apparatus of this invention.
