  • Patent number: 5721666
Abstract: A molded electrical circuit assembly is disclosed where the molded electrical circuit assembly comprises a device assembly overlaying at least a portion of a face applique and a backing assembly overlaying at least a portion of the device assembly. The device assembly is retained between the face applique and the backing assembly, and the backing assembly has a window formed proximate to the device assembly. Also included is a molded portion molded generally over the backing assembly and abutting at least a portion of the face applique.

  • Patent number: 5574623
Abstract: A method of producing a molded assembly for at least partially encapsulating a touch panel structure. The method includes providing a touch panel structure which has a front side, a reverse side and an edge extending therebetween. A circuit is attached to the panel structure and includes at least one device. The panel is positioned in a cavity of a plastic injection mold which includes a hollow shutoff positioned relative to the device on the touch panel. When the mold is closed, a rim portion of the hollow shutoff is positioned against the reverse side of the panel spaced away from the device so as to at least partially shield the portion of the panel containing the device from the injection molding environment. The present invention also envisions a product produced by this method.

  • Patent number: 4899881
Abstract: A simulated food product carrier formed of synthetic resin accurately conforming to a carrier portion of an actual foodstuff, such as an oyster half shell. The simulated food product representation is formed as a printing on a suitable nontoxic synthetic resin cover sheet, permitting the food product to be stored and served thereon. In one embodiment, the carrier is formed of high temperature resistant synthetic resin, permitting the carrier and food product thereon to be heated for serving. The carrier is adapted for extended storage at freezing temperatures. The carrier is provided, in one form, as individual food product carriers and, in another disclosed form, as a portion of a serving tray or dish.

  • Patent number: 4142651
Abstract: A fluid dispenser including a container, or alternatively, one which is adapted to receive a bottle or the like for storing a supply of fluid, a push button valve, and a flexible tube connecting the container to the push button valve. The fluid flows by gravity from the container, through the flexible tubing, to the push button valve. The push button valve is spring-loaded, and has a pair of aligned openings through which the flexible tubing extends. In the inoperative or normal position of the push button valve, the flexible tubing is pinned shut at the point where it extends through the openings, thus cutting off the flow of fluid from the container to the push button valve. To operate the fluid dispenser, the push button valve is simply pressed downwardly to align the pair of openings, which reaction releases the crimping or pinching of the flexible tubing, allowing the fluid to flow through the flexible tubing.
