    Abstract: The addition of copper phthalocyanine to composite solid propellant compositions has been found to substantially reduce the tendency toward combustion instability of the propellant. The invention is particularly useful in connection with smokeless composite propellants employing hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene as a binder.
