  • Publication number: 20240389048
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access and mobility management function (AMF) proxy may establish a first communication link between a radio access network (RAN) of a first network operator and a first AMF of the first network operator via the AMF proxy and a second communication link between the RAN of the first network operator and a second AMF of a second network operator via the AMF proxy. The AMF proxy may receive a message from the RAN via the first communication link or the second communication link directed towards a target proxy endpoint address of the first AMF or of the second AMF. As such, the AMF proxy may transmit the message from the RAN to the first or to the second AMF based on a mapping between a set of target proxy endpoint addresses, and one or more source proxy endpoint addresses.

  • Publication number: 20240389176
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access and mobility management function (AMF) proxy may establish a first communication link between the AMF proxy and a first radio access network (RAN) associated with a first network operator, a second communication link between the AMF proxy and a first AMF associated with the first network operator, and a third communication link between the AMF proxy and a second AMF associated with a second network operator. The AMF proxy may the receive a message from the first RAN that includes a source identifier (ID) associated with a network entity of the first RAN and a target AMF ID. Following, the AMF proxy may transmit the message to the first AMF or transmit the message to the second AMF, based on the target AMF ID corresponding to the first AMF or the target AMF ID corresponding to the second AMF.

  • Publication number: 20240356687
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for supporting an interface between a system that implements sensitive networking (TSN) and a wireless communications system. In one aspect, a network entity, which may be configured to communicate over the wireless communications system, may interface with one or more TSN bridges of the TSN system. The network entity may share timing information with a centralized network configuration (CNC) entity of the TSN system and may perform a time domain mapping between a first clock used by the CNC entity and a second clock used by the network entity. For example, the network entity may map absolute times using a clock drift between the first clock and the second clock and may convert time durations using a cumulative rate ratio between the first clock and the second clock.

The at least one header extension element includes a header extension element header, the header extension element header having a length of at least one byte. The first computing device receives, from the second computing device, a second data packet, the second data packet including a second time indicator. The first computing device determines a data packet delay associated with the first data packet based on the first time indicator and the second time indicator and transmits an indication of the data packet delay to at least one of the second computing device or a third computing device.

  • Patent number: 12108486
Abstract: Aspects directed towards steering of roaming (SoR) are disclosed. In one example, a communication from a public land mobile network (PLMN) is received by a user equipment (UE) in which the communication indicates an acceptance of a UE registration with the PLMN. This example further includes performing a determination of whether an SoR indicator associated with a home PLMN (HPLMN) is embedded within the communication. The UE then manages PLMN selection according to the determination. In another example, a UE is configured to operate according to an SoR configuration in which the UE is configured to ascertain whether an SoR indicator is embedded within a communication from a PLMN. An SoR indicator associated with an HPLMN is then generated and subsequently transmitted from the HPLMN to the UE via the PLMN.
