  • Patent number: 6053920
Abstract: A holder of a biocompatible material for implantation in bone tissue for controlled receipt and positional fixation of equipment for electrical transfer of information. A cylindrical mounting part is for lying outside of the bone tissue and includes a mounting end and a smooth outer surface. A conical insertion part is for insertion into the bone tissue. The insertion part is narrower than the mounting part and includes an insertion end opposite the mounting end and tapers toward the insertion end at an angle of 0.degree. to 10.degree.. A conical intermediate part is between the mounting part and the insertion part. A plurality of retention elements are at least on the insertion part for providing good initial anchoring and stability to the holder and for permitting the holder to be mounted in a preprepared hole in the bone tissue without screwing the holder. A channel extends through the holder for receiving the equipment and connections to the equipment and including an exit opening in the insertion part.

  • Patent number: 5851115
Abstract: A method and apparatus thereof for collecting control data for the production of replacement dental parts. The method includes the steps of imaging a body area and a replacement part with a single imaging device which is arranged to take a simultaneous picture of the body area from different angles during one exposure. The pictures are developed and scanned with a reading device which generates digitized data of the imaged body area and the replacement part to be applied in that area. The digitized data is transmitted to computer equipment which automatically reproduces the body area and replacement part on a screen. A computer program calculates spacial relations data of surfaces of the body area and replacement part and the data is used as control data in making and fitting the replacement part in the human body.

  • Patent number: 5816810
Abstract: An elongate supporting part in a replacement construction and a method of production thereof, the replacement construction is intended to be secured in the human body in implants with unique longitudinal courses by using at least one working model in which the longitudinal courses and connection surfaces of the implants are represented by representation members. The method comprising the steps of generating an electrical representation of the outer shape of the working model and providing this information to computer equipment. The computer equipment performs calculations in order to establish an outer shape for the supporting part and generates machining information based on this outer shape which represents the shape of the supporting part. This information is provided to a machining device which machines a blank and an electro erosion tool is created by providing electrodes in a working model at positions of the representation members.

  • Patent number: 5781849
Abstract: A method and system for reducing spurious signal content in transmitters is described. A lowpass or bandpass filter can be inserted after an input signal node of a transmitter to remove interfering signals generated, for example, from another input signal node of the transmitter. In this way integration of the transmitter circuitry is enhanced.

  • Patent number: 5668418
Abstract: Filter equipment is adapted for connection to an ac power network (N) for damping of current harmonics originating from an installation (TR, SR1, SR2), connected to the network, for power transmission by means of high-voltage direct current. The equipment has a three-phase filter set (F) with three filter branches which are each normally connected to a separate phase of the network via first switching members (BO). A spare filter branch (FR) is arranged as a stand-by for the three filter branches of the filter set (F) and is adapted for connection to an optional phase of the network by means of second switching members (BR).

  • Patent number: 5652709
Abstract: A sensing device senses a contour (3a) of a model (3) and generates, in response to the sensing, a representation (i1). The representation is used to control tool equipment for producing, for example, dental implants, support members, etc. or tools for producing such implants, members, etc. The representation (i1) is fed to computer equipment (23) which generates a signal array (i13). This latter effectuates or is included in the control of the tool equipment. The signal array (i13) is selected or compressed so that it will be sufficient to enable the tool equipment to perform with its expected degree of accuracy/tolerance in production.

  • Patent number: 5440496
Abstract: A method for producing at least one three-dimensional body. Conditions for sensing at least one model are preset. The conditions includes at least an angle of at least one sensor with respect to a longitudinal axis of the model and a relationship between a rotation speed of the model and a speed of movement of the sensor and the model relative to each other in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the model. The model is rotated while simultaneously moving at least one of the model and the sensor relative to each other in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the model while simultaneously sensing a plurality of distances generated by interaction between the sensor and a surface of the model to obtain a first set of data. The preset conditions and the first set of data are transmitted to at least one control for controlling at least one working tool for producing the three-dimensional body.

    Patent number: 5154612
Abstract: A device made of a tissue-compatible material is intended to temporarily cover a spacer of a dental implant during a period of incorporation of the dental implant, preferably in a single-tooth replacement. The base section of the device is designed in such a way that it guides the healing of the mucous membrane to assume a contour such that securing of the final crown is facilitated, and a certain possibility of controlling the seam between the final crown and the spacer is afforded. The device is preferably made of an elastic material for good clamp fitting on the spacer, as a result of which the use of paste, dental cement or the like is eliminated.

  • Patent number: 5048646
Abstract: An anti-skid device of the type including an arm, carrying in its outer end a chain-provided pulley that is brought in contact with a vehicle wheel so that the chains are thrown in under the vehicle wheel. The arm is, in its inner end, journaled in a U-shaped or fork-shaped bracket via a short axle that, in its ends, rests in bowl-shaped hemispherical bearings that are threaded into the legs of the bracket. The bearing bowls are pretensioned against the axle. At the apex of the shaft's spherical ends, recesses are made that take-up lubrication grease and, in this way, a point-like contact between the bearing shells and the axle is eliminated.

  • Patent number: 4800992
Abstract: Anti-skid device of a kind that includes a chain-provided pulley that on use if brought to contact with the side of the vehicle wheel so that when the vehicle wheel is rotated the chain pieces (2) are successively thrown in between wheel and ground in order to improve the traction. The anti-skid device is rotatably journaled in an arm (7) that in turn is fastened to a housing (8) that is turnably journaled on a stub axle (9). The turning movement of the arm and the housing is achieved in one direction by a bowden wire (20) and in the other dirction by a return spring (23). The stub axle (9) of the housing (8) is fastened to a plate (10) that in turn is fastened to a tube (11) by means of welding. The tube (11) is in turn arranged in clamps (12 and 13), that in turn are fastened to the bolts holding together the vehicle axle and its spring.
