  • Publication number: 20240116391
Abstract: A method is disclosed for controlling an amount of charging resources available to a plurality of electric vehicle supply equipments, EVSEs. The method comprises receiving, from each of the plurality of EVSEs, data representing one or more actual charging profiles of respective one or more charging sessions. Each actual charging profile indicates for its charging session a plurality of values indicative of an amount of consumed charging resources at respective times ranging from an actual charging session start time to an actual charging session end time. Further, each actual charging profile is indicative of a total amount of energy provided to an electric vehicle during the charging session associated with the actual charging profile. The method further comprises, for each actual charging profile, determining a fictitious charging profile associated with a fictitious charging session based on the actual charging profile.

  • Publication number: 20230356615
Abstract: A method is disclosed for allocating charging resources to a plurality of electric vehicles. The electric vehicles are connected to a polyphase power distribution system for receiving said charging resources. The method comprises determining a first connection configuration for a first electric vehicle out of the plurality of electric vehicles by determining that the first electric vehicle is connected to a first subset of one or more phases of the polyphase power distribution system and not connected to a second subset of one or more phases of the polyphase power distribution system. The method also comprises, based on the determined first connection configuration, allocating charging resources to the electric vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20230347782
Abstract: A method for providing charging resources to one or more electric vehicles is disclosed. The method comprises a control system of an electric vehicle supply equipment, EVSE, storing a default charging profile. The default charging profile defines a first maximum amount of charging resources that the EVSE may provide to one or more electric vehicles charging with the EVSE. The method also comprises the control system of the EVSE receiving from a central control system, via a communication connection between the control system and the central control system, a charging profile. The charging profile defines a second maximum amount of charging resources that the EVSE may provide to one or more electric vehicles charging with the EVSE. The method also comprises the control system effectuating the received charging profile. This comprises causing the EVSE to provide at most the second maximum amount of charging resources to one or more electric vehicles charging with the EVSE.

  • Publication number: 20230140514
Abstract: A method is disclosed for allocating charging resources, e.g. amperes, to electric vehicle charging stations. The method comprises a step (i) of determining a priority level for the electric vehicle charging stations thus forming priority groups. The method further comprises a step (ii) of determining a priority sublevel for one or more electric vehicle charging stations in a priority group. The method further comprises a step (iii) of allocating charging resources to the electric vehicle charging stations in accordance with the applicable priority levels and priority sublevels. In this step, one or more disadvantaged electric vehicle charging stations in the second group are allocated limited charging resources. For these disadvantaged charging stations a priority sublevel lower than a threshold priority sublevel has been determined. The method further comprises a step (iv) of updating priority sublevels for the electric vehicle charging stations in the second group.
