  • Patent number: 6089618
Abstract: A sealing device for sealing an annular space between a socket and a spigot end introduced therein comprises a sealing ring (10) and an annular element (12) connected therewith and consisting of a non-elastic cellular plastic, for example styrene cellular plastic. The sealing device is intended to be moulded into the socket at the cylindrical inner surface thereof with the sealing ring (10) positioned adjacent the free end of the socket and the annular cellular plastic element (12) positioned axially inside the sealing ring. The annular element (12) consisting of non-elastic cellular plastic is formed with recesses (22) which are positioned at or in connection with the inner surface of the annular element for allowing a radial expansion of the inner surface of the annular element under the influence of the spigot end introduced into the socket.

  • Patent number: 6076834
Abstract: A sealing element (2) consisting of elastic material is adapted to be molded into for example a concrete pipe socket. In order to improve the binding between the sealing element and the material of the concrete pipe socket the sealing element is at least partially provided with fiber flock (14) at the surface portion which at the molding is adapted to be enclosed by the concrete material of the socket. • Patent number: 5417442
Abstract: A sealing device for sealing two concrete pipe end portions in relation to each other comprises a sealing surface (4) in a socket (2) of one of the pipe end portions and a sealing surface (14) on a spigot end (12) of the other pipe end portion. The spigot end is introduced into the socket and there is between the sealing surfaces formed a sealing space in which an elastic material sealing element (26) is positioned in a compressed state. A closure device (28) is positioned in the sealing space between the interior of the pipe end portions and the sealing element (26) for preventing a medium conveyed in the pipe end portions from contacting the sealing element as well as the sealing surfaces at least in a region of the sealing element.

  • Patent number: 4696480
Abstract: A device for removing dirt and contaminants from a surface comprises a number of fibres (24) fixedly supported at one end and extending towards and engaging at a contact surface (28) the surface (2) from which the dirt and contaminants shall be removed. The fibres (24) have conveyor surfaces (32) extending obliquely in relation to the direction of relative movement between the fibres and said surface (2), said conveyor surfaces being adapted to move the dirt and contaminants away from said surface in direction transversely to the direction to said relative movement between the fibres (24) and said surface (2).

  • Patent number: 4592666
Abstract: A sealing device is adapted to seal a bearing (2) which is adapted to be positioned in an annular space between two cylindrical and concentric surfaces of two machine elements (30, 32) which are rotatable in relation to each other. The sealing device comprises an annular element (16) which is adapted to be connected with one (26) of the substantially cylindrical surfaces, thereby forming a clearance space in relation to a portion (4) of the bearing (2), which is firmly connectable with the other (28) of the substantially cylindrical surfaces. The annular element (16) and said portion (4) of the bearing (2) include engagement surfaces (22, 24) which are displaceable to and from firm engagement with each other by axial displacement of the annular element and said portion of the bearing in relation to each other.
