Abstract: A clamping arrangement (3) for the fixation of a towing arrangement (2), equipped with a mounting flange (14), in a mounting pocket (6) included in a vehicle underframe (1) and being of the type that includes front and rear pairs of stop lugs (11, 12). The clamping arrangement includes a form-stiff insert (4) as well as a clamping device (5), which is applicable between the insert (4) and the mounting flange (14) of the towing arrangement (2) in order to press apart these and thereby clamp the mounting flange (14) against the front pair of lugs (11). A railway vehicle, e.g. a railroad car, provided with a towing arrangement is also disclosed.

Abstract: A coupling arrangement for coupling together rail vehicles such as railway carriages and locomotives consisting of a coupling head comprising a coupling housing (1) joined to the rail vehicle and having an active coupling device in the form of a plunger (2) movable between an outer and an inner position and designed to co-operate with a similar plunger in a corresponding coupling head when two coupling heads are coupled together, the plungers (2) being movable in directions that are substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal directions of the coupling heads and can be released at uncoupling. A locking device (7) is provided in the coupling arrangement and comprises a locking member (7.5) arranged to be brought into contact with the plunger (2) when this is in its outer position and to prevent the plunger (2) being displaced from this position.

Abstract: A method for reducing the content of phytate and/or salts thereof, formed by phytic acid, in cereal grains, whereby the cereal grains are subjected to a combined wet steeping and dry steeping in at least two successive cycles in that the cereal grains are mixed with water or a water mixture to a water content in the cereal grains of 25-60%, the pH value is adjusted to pH 4-7, the mixture is heated to 35-60.degree. C. and is subjected to wet steeping for a period of 0.5-10 hours, eventual excess of water or water solution is drained, and the cereal grains are dry steeped for a period of 0.5-20 hours at a temperature of 35-60.degree. C., whereupon the cereal is finally dried. The cereal can be taken out of the process as whole grains, as flakes, as cut grains or as flour.
