  • Patent number: 11958102
Abstract: A method of repairing a chain can include aligning a bore of an outer chain link with a bore of an inner chain link, inserting a pin through the aligned bores, the pin having a thread end opposite a head end, engaging a multi-jackbolt tensioner with the thread end of the pin, the multi-jackbolt tensioner having a plurality of fasteners, advancing each of the plurality of fasteners to press on the outer chain link, and forming an interference fit between the pin and the outer chain link at the bore of the outer chain link from the advancing of the fasteners.

  • Patent number: 11943325
Abstract: A computer system is provided that includes a storage system, at least one transceiver, and a processing system with at least one hardware processor. The storage system stores a first list pair. The transceiver receives electronic data messages that each include a respective data transaction request. The processing system determines how the new data transaction request should be processed based on which communication protocol was used to submit the request. Updates regarding the first list pair are sent out to non-party client computer systems using different communication protocols, where one is faster than the other, but the slower update includes private data therein.

  • Patent number: 7769822
Abstract: In a content delivery network comprising multiple servers positioned at different locations, and including clients respectively located closer to one of the servers than to others, a method distributes specified file content to respective clients. The method initially uploads the specified content to a particular server, and generates a download plan for replicating the specified content at one or more other servers in successive stages, wherein each of the other servers is designated as a target server. The clients are notified, when the specified content is available for downloading at each target server. One mode of operation, of the target servers, immediately serves the specified content to a given client from the target server; another mode notifies the given client of the amount of time remaining until the target server completes replicating the specified content.

Abstract: In a content delivery network comprising multiple depot servers positioned at different locations, and including clients respectively located closer to one of the depot servers than to others, a method distributes specified file content to respective clients. The method comprises initially uploading the specified content to a particular one of the depot servers, and generating a download plan for replicating the specified content at one or more other depot servers in successive stages, wherein each of the other depot servers is designated as a target depot server. Each of a multiplicity of clients is notified, when the uploading of the specified content to the particular depot server has been completed, that the specified content is being made available for downloading at each target depot server.

  • Patent number: 4109968
Abstract: A pneumatic tractor-trailer brake system by which application of the trailer brakes and the tractor brakes occurs simultaneously to guard against jack-knifing. This is accomplished by connecting the pressure chamber of the relay valve on the trailer and the adjacent end of the service line with the air pressure tank on the trailer by opening a normally closed solenoid-actuated valve as a consequence of initial depression of the brake pedal. Energization of the solenoid to open this valve results from closure of the energizing circuit for the stop light on the trailer. The resulting immediate response of the relay valve pressurizes the entire trailer brake system, including the service line, sufficiently to take up any slack in the trailer brakes no later than that occurs at the tractor brakes. At the instant the brakes begin to grip, a fluid pressure actuated electric switch opens the solenoid energizing circuit.
