  • Publication number: 20150193131
Abstract: A method for rendering one or more user interface elements on a display screen of a device is disclosed. The method includes receiving a request for rendering a first user interface element without an orientation preference, and identifying a type of the device. The method also includes, in accordance with a determination that the type of the device is a first device type corresponding to television devices and the first user interface element corresponds to a first user interface element type, rendering the first user interface element as a vertical user interface element in a first display region of the display screen.

  • Patent number: 8959450
Abstract: A system and method that allows for dynamic conversion path exploration. Users can explore all their conversion paths and narrow events they want to investigate by prepending or appending events to the analysis view. In addition, users segment the neighboring events by one of the event dimensions (e.g., source, medium, campaign, keyword).

  • Publication number: 20150007226
Abstract: A method for rendering application user interfaces on a television screen executes at a computer system coupled with the television screen. The computer system includes one or more processors and memory storing a plurality of applications configured for execution by the one or more processors. The method provides a user interface of a first application of the plurality of applications for display on the television screen. The method receives from a personal user device a user interface of a second application. The personal user device is distinct from the computer system and the user interface of the second application is provided by one or more programs executing on the personal user device. The method concurrently displays on the television screen the user interface of the first application and the user interface of the second application.

  • Patent number: 8839292
Abstract: A method for rendering application user interfaces includes providing a user interface of a first application for display on a television screen, and, while providing the user interface of the first application for display on the television screen, providing a user interface of a second application for concurrent display with the user interface of the first application, in a predefined user interface region, on the television screen. The method also includes, while providing the user interface of the second application, receiving a request for a user interface of a third application. The method further includes, in response to receiving the request for the user interface of the third application, providing a user interface of the third application, instead of the user interface of the second application, for concurrent display with the user interface of the first application, in the predefined user interface region, on the television screen.

  • Patent number: 8782716
Abstract: A method for rendering one or more user interface objects on a television screen is disclosed. The method is performed at a computer system coupled with the television screen. The method includes receiving a request for rendering a user interface object, and identifying a variable scaling factor. The variable scaling factor is determined in accordance with a distance parameter corresponding to a distance between a respective user and the television screen. The method also includes rendering the user interface object on the television screen in accordance with the variable scaling factor while maintaining a display of a television program on the television screen based on a fixed scaling factor.

  • Patent number: 8667385
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for displaying annotations for a multidimensional dataset at a client device is disclosed. The client device is connected to a server system through a network. The client device displays a first view of the multidimensional dataset. The first view includes a first graph over a period of time and a plurality of annotations, each annotation corresponding to a respective time segment within the period of time. Upon receiving a user selection of one of the plurality of annotations, the client device displays a second view of the multidimensional dataset. The second view includes a second graph over the period of time and the plurality of annotation. Finally, the client device highlights the user-selected annotation among the plurality of annotations and the time segment corresponding to the user-selected annotation in the second graph.

  • Patent number: 8620933
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer readable media, for generating Venn-like diagram illustrating cross channel conversion paths. In one aspect, a plurality of conversion paths are received. Each conversion path includes one or more user interactions that include a plurality of dimensional data. A sorted list of channel groups that includes one or more group rules is received and each user interaction is grouped into a channel based upon the channel groups. A selection of channels to visualize is received and an image including one circle for each selected channel is generated. The circles are optimally placed to maximize the accuracy of the overlapped regions with channel group data.
