  • Publication number: 20180135979
Abstract: Provided is a switching cap having a plate and a block formed on the plate. Also provided is a mode-switchable rangefinder having a protection component, a housing, a binocular module, a display module, a circuit board with a photoelectric switch, a distance sensor module, and a slope sensor module. The four modules and the circuit board are disposed in the accommodation space, and the display module, the distance sensor module, and the slope sensor module are electrically connected with the circuit board. When the switching cap is in use, the block is disposed between two ends of the photoelectric switch, such that only distance information is displayed for tournament. When the protecting cap is in use, the ends of the photoelectric switch would not be isolated, such that both distance and slope information can be displayed for practice.

  • Publication number: 20140059511
Abstract: Aspects of the invention relate to yield analysis techniques for generating root cause candidates for yield analysis. With various implementations of the invention, points of interest are first identified in a layout design. Next, regions of interest are determined for the identified points of interest. Next, one or more properties are extracted from the regions of interest. Based at least on the one or more properties, diagnosis reports of failing devices fabricated according to the layout design are analyzed to identify probable root causes.

  • Publication number: 20080114652
Abstract: A computer readable storage medium has executable instructions to identify a new Internet advertising experiment including values. The effectiveness of the values in prior Internet advertising experiments is evaluated. The performance of the new Internet advertising experiment is predicted based upon the effectiveness of the values in the prior Internet advertising experiments.

  • Publication number: 20080091487
Abstract: A method of evaluating advertising expenditures includes establishing a first relationship between advertising position and bid price. A second relationship between estimated expenditure per time period and bid price is formed. An average advertising position for an entity is observed. A frequency of appearance for the entity is located. The average advertising position is mapped to a bid price using the first relationship. The bid price is mapped to an estimated expenditure per time period using the second relationship. The average expenditure is multiplied by the frequency of appearance to establish a per time period expenditure for the entity.

  • Publication number: 20070120673
Abstract: A system federates heterogeneous monitoring systems to provide end-to-end monitoring information for conveyances with item-layer visibility. A first node of the federated system comprises a first monitoring system and a first port and a second node comprises a second monitoring system and a second port. In parallel with a conveyance being transported between the first node and the second node, the first monitoring system sends an agent to the second monitoring system. The agent comprises logic and/or data necessary to implement processes on the second monitoring agent while the conveyance is at the second port. When the conveyance arrives at the second port, the second monitoring system executes the agent to determine conditions of the conveyance and/or its contents.

  • Publication number: 20060202825
Abstract: A conveyance tracking system provides two-phase transaction commit processing for synchronizing seal state information between a seal device attached to a conveyance and a host for tracking conveyances. The system uses a reader device for synchronization and communication between the seal device and host system regarding various operations, such as a lock operation, an unlock operation, and a clear tamper operation. In the first phase of the two-phase commit, the seal device prepares for the operation and the host executes the operation. In the second phase, the seal device fulfills the irreversible operation, ensuring that the seal state of the seal device and host are in sync.

  • Publication number: 20060144940
Abstract: Systems and methods to provide multi-layer visibility of nested containers at a mobile checkpoint are disclosed. Thee systems include a portable deployment kit in communication with a nested container. The portable deployment kit can be contained in a durable carrying case having a total weight that is within military standards for carrying by one person and includes a handle. Inside, the carrying case can include foam or other material to protect internal components during transport and deployment. In use within the system, the portable deployment kit can serve as a self-contained checkpoint or site server for gathering necessary information from the nested container and uplinking for centralized data collection. In one embodiment, the portable deployment kit includes a label printer for updating an identification device on the nested container to reflect, for example, aggregation and deaggregation.

  • Publication number: 20050024200
Abstract: A nested container establishes a relative hierarchy of associated containers as logistical units. The relative hierarchy comprises lower-layer containers and upper-layer containers relative to the nested container. To do so, the nested container sends interrogation signals to neighboring containers in order to retrieve identification information and layer information. Also, the nested container sends its own information identification information and layer information responsive to received interrogation signals. The nested container outputs the relative hierarchy to, for example, a site server or agent using a hand-held device. The identification module comprises, for example, an RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) device.
