Publication number: 20250225319Abstract: Document difference viewing and navigation are disclosed that enables automatic comparison and easy viewing of the difference between many documents (e.g., four or more, dozens, hundreds, or thousands of documents) for, for example, document review processes. The system obtains and reads a set of documents containing text. The system identifies shared text and differences by location within the shared text among different documents in the set of documents. It sorts the documents in the set of documents into groups of different text variation versions and generates a shared difference document. The shared difference document is displayed in a first panel of a user interface and displays shared text as static text and areas of difference in highlighted regions. When a user selects of a given area of difference, the text variations and a list of documents containing one or more corresponding text variations are displayed in a second panel.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 26, 2025Publication date: July 10, 2025Inventors: Mark Sales, Esther Kwak, Kevin Kraftsmith, Leo Chen

Publication number: 20240386418Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for using a blockchain wallet for two-factor authentication are described. A custodial token platform implements a two-factor authentication process using a wallet to facilitate verifying a user identity accessing an application or service. The platform receives, from a client application on a user device, an authentication request that is associated with a first user account. The platform transmits a response indicating that a wallet authentication procedure is enabled and the response may include a wallet address. The platform receives a challenge request that includes the wallet address. The platform transmits a challenge response that includes a data payload to be signed using a private key associated with the wallet address. The platform receives a signed response message. The platform verifies that the signed response message is validly signed, and the platform transmits an indication that the signed response message is validly signed.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2023Publication date: November 21, 2024Inventors: Leo Chen, Alex Reeva, Nick Janda, Eduardo Salazar, JR.

Patent number: 11933087Abstract: A storage console includes a housing with a storage chamber, two closure members connected to the housing, an actuator movably arranged in the housing and a latch mechanism rotatably connected to the housing. The two closure members can be rotated to open or close the storage chamber. The latch mechanism includes two latch members and a synchronizer connected between the two latch members. The movement of the actuator actuates the two latch members to rotate to a lock position in which the two latch members engage with the two closure members or a release position in which the two latch members are separated from the two closure members. The two closure members of the storage console can be opened synchronously by use of the actuator and closed independently of each other.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2022Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Ford Global Technologies, LLCInventors: Mona Li, Wei Xu, Leo Chen, Kevin Shen

Publication number: 20210179246Abstract: Aspects of the technology include an automated system for launching lighter-than-air high altitude platforms (HAPs), in particular balloon-type HAPs. A launch system and process are employed that use cameras to observe balloon sway and other factors. A control system detects the angle and position of the balloon gas bubble in relation to the payload in real time in view of wind and other environmental factors. This, in turn, enables the control system to automatically actuate the release mechanism and launch the balloon system at a selected point in time. This mitigates issues that can occur with manual operator-controlled launches, and increases the likelihood of a successful HAP deployment in the stratosphere. Models created via machine learning enable the system to determine criteria indicating a likelihood of a successful launch. These models may be sued by the control system in order to select an appropriate point for launching the platform.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 12, 2019Publication date: June 17, 2021Inventors: Leo Chen, James Smith, Keegan Gartner

Publication number: 20190129184Abstract: Designs of a laser-based display engine for wearable display devices are described. A laser source is provided to produce a laser dot in one of three primary colors. The laser dot is projected upon a lens before it hits an optical unit, wherein the optical unit then produces a laser plane from the laser dot. An optical cube, formed by two triangular prisms, includes a transmissive reflector disposed between two sloping rectangular sides of the triangular prisms. A collimation lens is provided to collimate the laser plane and project the collimated laser plane into the optical cube, where the collimated laser plane is reflected by the transmissive reflector to a microdisplay. The reflected laser beams from the microdisplay transmit through the transmissive reflector and eventually are projected in a waveguide. Depending on the implementation, the optical unit may include a collimation lens or a micro lens array (MLA).Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2018Publication date: May 2, 2019Inventors: Darwin Hu, Leo Chen, Jangho Choi
