Abstract: The present invention is a method and system of providing fitness equipment, such as a yoga mat, balance ball, yoga block, abs ball, pilates roller, etc., with multimedia playing capabilities. The multimedia workout guides and exercise programs that were tailored to the fitness equipment can be preloaded with that equipment to provide a convenient one-stop fitness exercise experience to the users. The multimedia system is installed into a single hard-case. The hard-case is embedded into the fitness equipment by way of fastening to a housing or a simple slot in an embedded case of the fitness equipment. The multimedia system is also detachable from the housing or the equipment. The multimedia system comprises a speaker unit, a memory unit, an interface unit, a display unit, a power unit and a processing unit. The multimedia system can be operated with replaceable battery, solar cells, AC power or DC power.
