  • Patent number: 10004972
Abstract: A stationary strength training equipment includes a frame assembly, a lockable bilateral user interface installed on the frame assembly, a balancing structure connected to the lockable bilateral user interface, a plurality of user selectable weights supported by the frame assembly and connected to the balancing structure, a load detecting strain gauge disposed on the user selectable weights to detect a weight of the user selectable weights being lifted, and an informing device connected to the lockable bilateral user interface to detect and show a warning signal to a user. The lockable bilateral user interface further includes a locking mechanism assembly and a central pivot assembly; the balancing structure is able to rotate along the central pivot assembly, and the locking mechanism assembly selectively restricts a rotation of the balancing structure.

  • Patent number: 9878194
Abstract: A stationary exercise equipment has a supporting structure, a movable user interface connected to the supporting structure, and a force-resisting device. The force-resisting device with a hub mounted continuously variable transmission configured therein provides a variable resistance force that varies an amount of force with a movement of the movable user interface. The hub mounted variable transmission is operably to vary the resistance force of the movable user interface in a manner of varying a rotational rate of the user interface to increase or decrease as required.

  • Patent number: 4496876
Abstract: A wide band travelling wave amplifier including an input waveguide coaxia disposed about an interaction waveguide. Both waveguides are tapered with the same direction of increasing cross-section. The interaction waveguide is a high-pass filter while the input waveguide is a low pass filter. The input waveguide is positioned relative to the interaction waveguide so that each cutoff plane in the input waveguide corresponding to a given frequency, .omega..sub.c, is displaced in the direction of increasing cross-section from a cutoff plane in the interaction waveguide corresponding to .omega..sub.c where .omega..sub.c is any frequency in the frequency band of the amplifier. A slot, disposed between the cutoff planes corresponding to .omega..sub.c couples the .omega..sub.c frequency component of an input wave from the input waveguide to the interaction waveguide.

  • Patent number: 4011528
Abstract: A coupling circuit for use at microwave frequencies comprising two conductors each having substantially the shape of a W, which conductors are deposited on a substrate in a manner so that the bases of W's oppose one another to form two semi-lumped capacitances of different susceptance, separated by phasing line lengths.

  • Patent number: 3980972
Abstract: A proximity coupler is provided for high frequency circuits wherein conductors are deposited on a substrate in the shape of a hollow dumbbell intersected by an X. Coupling is provided primarily across sawtoothed shaped gaps in the dumbbell center section and secondarily across a gap formed by spaced parallel connectors in said center section. The parallel conductors have phase delaying loops at opposite ends, and the resulting coupling characteristics of the proximity coupler can be modified by dimensional changes of the loops.
